Coastal atmosphere in a hot dry town. Good meals and service. Casual, not gourmet. Prices are fair and good for happy hour.

I ordered lobster and when I received it I was shocked. It didn't look like lobster. It looked like a white ghost which had the most horrible taste. I sent it back and ordered a different fish. I couldn't eat that either. It was cooked so horribly. The only thing I would eat there is their shrimp salad which is... More

Have never left Pismo's disappointed with the food. I usually get their salmon with a couple seasonal sides. Cauliflower is amazing. I always try to go at off-times, b/c it tends to get loud during busy times, & I generally prefer to talk not yell at my dining partners. Also, the wait for a table can be long at peak... More

Probably the best place for seafood in Fresno. Service and food is above average. Always busy but food is always fresh

We were in the area on a 3 day business trip. We had dinner here the first night. Our waitress Amber was great. She helped us order what we wanted. This is by far the best seafood we have had and we travel all over. I had chowder and grilled shrimp. The chowder was delicious. The shrimp was large and... More

A very nice place, casual and relaxed, yet nice enough for a business lunch. The food is great and fresh. I had the sashimi appetizer, awesome! Fish seems to be the specialty but their hamburgers are to die for. One piece of advice, MAKE RESERVATIONS, when possible. It is a busy place for a reason!!!

What a great find in Fresno. Pismo's is a wonderful relaxed place with great food. Reservations are a must even though there is a nice bar to wait for a table as well as a great Happy Hour. The seating could be a little improved upon. There are some booth but some of the seating is on garden furniture. Not... More

We go to Fresno very seldom but when we do Pismo's is a mainstay. The best calamari steak ever, and polenta to die for. Good wine list including some excellent wines by the glass. One of our favorite places anywhere -great seafood in Fresno, go figure .

Visited Pismo's on two occasions during a recent business trip to the Fresno area... the food was wonderful both times. From chowder to scallops to oysters to fish, everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. A young lady by the name of Eva was our server both nights and she did an exceptional job in helping us decide on appetizers and... More
