Food is excellent! Don't order it to go!!!

I just want to say I love the food at Sakura Chaya! The sushi is fresh and always fantastic. The waitstaff is excellent as well. The only problem I have is when I order my food to go. The employees they have answering the phones are often rude and not well informed. Example...A couple of weeks ago... read more

With out a reservation, you'd wait time is about 1/2 hours. If your trying to have them Cook in front of you. Other wise you don't wait as much. It's about $20 per person. We loved our chef. He did an amazing job entertaining and Cooking for us. The bacon fried rice is the best. As well as the bean... More

This place is very large, so despite the full parking lot at lunchtime, we were able to get a booth for two without waiting. Service is excellent. I ordered the Teriyaki-grilled Salmon O-Bento Box. Wow. Delicious food and very large portions that required a to-go box as well. Comes with a cold crisp salad and miso soup. Then the box,... More

I have never been to a Japanese steakhouse that put corn, bacon, and green beans in the fried rice until I ate here. It's...interesting. Maybe it's a regional thing or maybe just at this restaurant. It's definitely very different than what I'm used to from a hibachi grill.

I'm not a big fan of sushi being that I was freshly introduced to it not too long ago. But the other couples there raved about it so I went along with it. Expect to make reservations if you don't want to wait...well worth it. The waiter we had was amazing and kept us laughing the entire time. Definitely helped... More

Must try their lunch specials!!! It's such a great value. The atmosphere inside is nice and most importantly clean. If you have not had their fried rice your missing out because it's the best I've ever tasted. Staff is curious and attentive. I would hands down recommend Sakura to anyone looking for great Tokyo cuisine...

Had the Tepan-Yaki lunch special with beef, chicken and shrimp. Good value, but only two shrimp! My wife and I love this place. The parking lot is always full. The food is always great. She always takes home leftovers, and I can never get enough.

James, the maître d' was very helpful and accommodating. We had a birthday party dinner for 10 people and everyone enjoyed the good food, chef and waiter. James brought out a special caterpillar roll to celebrate the occasion and the food servers all came out to sing happy birthday Japanese style. When eating here with a group it is important... More

The lunch special combo for $10.95 was a nice deal. It includes beef, shrimp, and chicken.... And comes with soup, AND salad, veggies, and fried rice. All the food was very fresh and cooked well. With this special the beef was a pretty small portion but lean and tasty. It was not a chunk of steak... It was thinly sliced.... More
