good food and service but too noisy!!

we were unfortunate enough to go there for dinner the same day they had an event going on and it was SO noisy we could barely hear our waiter. I wish they had let us know in advance when we called to book the table. other than that the food was all really good (we had filet lignin which was... read more

Took 20 mins to get a drink. Not many there so odd. The "waitress" then told an unbelievable story and said she was the only one there, had been called at the last minute, everyone else had canceled....We were understanding, food was good, so we went back the next day. We walked in at 1:30pm. This same "waitress" said they... More

Recently visited for a holiday party. Ordered the seared tuna. Many people at the table ordered beef. You would think SEARED tuna would be the last dish served because meet should, in theory, sit for ten minutes. But NO they served it first and waiting for everyone to be served left the fish cold and unappealing. The appetizers were mediocre.... More

Tried it for lunch. Odd room with phoney elegance, dim light, TV playing in nearby bar. No craft beers on tap. Martinis served in mismatched glasses. Service very poor. We had the salmon. Fish was good - presentation poor. Unimaginative - large amount of rice and large chunks of steamed broccoli filling plate. Perhaps a nice plate in a diner... More

Elegant interior with great hostess and pleasant wait staff. Dinner for two with an appetizer, two cocktails, two salads, two entrees, drinks and shared dessert bill and tip right at $175. Delicious food and nicely plated. Every bit equal to Bess's in Austin, Texas. Lunch menu is great and less expensive than the dinner menu.

This is a pricey, pretentious place. The decor is nice but not memorable. The menu is interesting. We ordered calamari as an appetizer; it was good, but there was more breading than calamari. The presentation was nice. Their Greek Salad was pretty good with fresh tomatoes, but there was minimal Feta cheese. We ordered the 22 ounce bone-in ribeye and... More

I stopped in the night before we celebrated our 26th anniversary and ask for a quiet table. My wife is dealing with an illness and they were very accommodating. Whole experience was fantastic. Recommend them highly.

I went to a dinner hosted by a pharmaceutical company one weeknight a couple of months ago. My lettuce wedge had a dead roach sitting in the dressing. I took a picture that I still have on my phone. Was told that it didn't come out of their kitchen (whatever this means). That the salad had been placed out on... More

We've eaten here in the past and enjoyed the dining experience. You may want to ask if there is a big party they are hosting before making your choice to have a meal here. This is a great place for a party but if you aren't part of the guest list, we suggest you go elsewhere. We wanted a quiet... More

We ate at the Palms last night and it was truly wonderful. From the gracious staff to the delightful talents of the pianist Jim. We will be sure to eat there more often. If you haven't tried it you simply must. The food is superb my favorite was the salmon. Hats off to this Fresno jewl.
