I'm not thrilled but it was not bad. I would not eat here again. Flavor are subtle - each dish is cooked well just not enough flavoring (Orange chicken was good stuff). "Dinner specials" is confusing for the common folk like myself. Each dinner is priced per person but they require 2 to order. So prices should be doubled and... More

Traveling all over the U.S., I've been fortunate enough to have some of the best Chinese available in San Francisco. I am partial to all Asian foods and never expected to find good Chinese in the middle of Fresno. After a long day at work I decided to go based off of the TA reviews. From the moment I walked... Fabulous Food, service and atmosphere. World renown Chef. I have not tried everything on the menu yet but the butter cream prawns are yummy and a must try.

We've been here several times, not recently last weekend. Everything was delicious. If you're feeling timid go ahead and order the orange chicken - it will be the best you ever had. Otherwise tell the servers what you like and go with their recommendations - that's how we found our favorite dishes. And don't forget to try the soups!

sure, you can get your standard sweet and sour, fried rice, and egg roll here. And it will be delicious. But those of us in the know, who want to take full advantage of our very own Bocuse D'or award winning chef, know to order off the "other" menu, full of traditional authentic Chinese food. And that food is beyond... More

Really enjoyed our dinner here. We had potstickers, Kung Pao Chicken, and hot-and-sour soup. The potstickers had very little pork in them--mostly cabbage and were a bit doughy. The Kung Pao Chicken was fabulous--fresh bell peppers and onions in a delicious sauce with the chicken and peanuts. The hot and sour soup was fabulous. A tiny bit sweet and lighter... More

It is a pleasure and a delight to discover Chinese food of this quality, and we have never had a bad experience at Hunan. Since the restaurant was redecorated last year, the ambience is sophisticated and appetizing, just like the cuisine. Service is always gracious and accommodating. Whether you order from the American or Chinese menu, you are certain to... More

I liked the food here because I love spicy food & also the quality was much better then all the other Chinese food I have tried. I understand it is not like omg this is it for the taste of food but it certainly is a couple of notches higher...

Not sure why the high reviews and the foot traffice. Here is my breakdown: 1). Huge portions...you can share with one person 2). Bok Choy is in a lot of dishes be careful about ordering Chinese Spinach or vegetables with Mushrooms 3). The Servers work as a team so any one can help you with water, bill, adding onto order,... If you want to have chinese the way the chinese have it then this is the place you should go to. the food is good. being from south asia myself i can say that it is 90% authentic. some of the dishes are in fact 100% or more (if that is possible). a very very pleasant change from the american...
