Great food in a casual setting!

California Grill has the freshest vegetables in their salads. We love their pancetta prawns and the prime rib is awesome with polenta and steamed veggies.....yum!

This restaurant is wonderful! It's owned by a family of organic farmers and they serve the freshest food. Big, big salads and generous entrees...we always took home leftovers.

This is an older restaurant that has survived the ups and downs of Watsonville, and for that reason alone, they deserve some kudos. But the food is nothing special, and the restaurant just seems "old" and "out of date." Yet, people flock to it like it's the best in the area ... which honestly, it just might be! Anyway, honesty... Owned by an organic foods grower, this restaurant will amaze you with its extensive menu and fresh vegetable sides. The polenta lasagna is the best I have ever had. My group had grilled salmon, chicken with artichokes, traditional lasagna, as well as the polenta lasagna and everyone loved their food. The desserts are unique and delicious, with something for everyone.... More

This restaurant is located in a strip mall. One gets a feeling its been around for a looong time. The menu is extensive and a large variety of dishes to select from. The dinners come with salad, bread and butter. I ordered Calamari, it was just ok. The breading is too thick and the sauce overwhelms the flavor of the... More

I had take out and was pleasantly surprised. My veal picatta was excellent. Instead of salad I ordered the soup which was artichoke bisque. It was amazing. I will go back next time I'm in the area.

We needed to kill some time before returning a trailer to U-Haul so we decided to try a new restaurant. Choosing the California Grill of the Pajaro Valley was a good decision. We arrived just as the place was beginning to fill up with what appeared to be local regulars. We were guided to a very nice table by a... More

An unexpected & welcome find near Watsonville & Pajaro Dunes. Upscale, reasonably-priced, local sustainable organic produce, meat & fish. Personal attention from grower/owner who is justifiably proud of his establishment. Wild salmon, chicken roulades, baby-back ribs & skirt steak all delicious. Veggies from the farm, exploding with flavor, served in generous portions. Phenom desserts, too! The friendly staff contributed to... More

While visiting my sister I was fortunate to eat here. The entire dining experience exceeded my expectations for a restaurant in this tiny town. The wine list was extensive for wines served by the glass. All of the vegetables are grown by the owner and the house salad is filled with organic produce. Each of us had something different and... We live here and used to frequent the Green Valley Grill which went out of business. What a thrill to hear about this place. We eat here often...usually dinner...and we've never had a bad meal. The people are wonderful, service excellent, the food is incredible and all of their produce is organic...added bonus!
