Been coming here for years, every time I visit California, and the food is always good and never disappoints. Service is friendly and fast.

Ordered waffles and bacon, took 15 min before she came to the table, then after I got the waffles, 15 more min before I had to tell her that I would like syrup with it, Morons and it was not even that busy, nothing special about this place and they don't have the respect enough to give veterans a little... The food here is excellent, the staff is warm and friendly, lot's of local regulars, packed on weekends. Worth the wait. Mother's day and such holidays you have to go early.

We crave breakfast here! I love that they serve island-style meals like the loco moco or Portuguese sausage with rice and eggs because those aren't easy to find! I recently started eating pancakes here which are probably the best I've ever had. Very fluffy! The portions are a generous size but be warned... this is not fine dining spot and... More

Being on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives doesn't always make a place special. In this case, Paul's is really nothing more than just a solid diner. Situated in a strip mall, Paul's was very busy, so people must like it, and the food was solid. Diner furniture, diner menus and diner food - Not to say that is a bad... More

Yes it's military themed and there are regulars; they are all very nice when you talk to them. I got the pancakes and they were delicious. My girlfriend ordered the chicken fried steak, which covered the whole plate. I took a picture and it was two-and-a-half iPhones long and two iPhones wide (I had no other means of measuring). Despite... More

We visited Paul's on a Sunday morning. It was very busy, but the wait wasn't too bad! It was worth it! Great food, service, and quick turnaround! Definitely going back!! Loved the choice of hash browns or potatoes, huge biscuits, crispy bacon, and perfect scrambled eggs! We had French toast, pancakes, and an omelette also at our table, ALL were... More

Have been to Paul's three times and never been disappointed with the breakfast, very tasty pancakes. Atmosphere a bit small, military themed.

I am an avid fan of Harry's Cafe at Bolsa and Springdale. Satisfies my basic requirements: good food, good service, big portions and reasonable prices. Saw some reviews for Paul's and went looking for their menu. I found the menu....but no prices! This always makes me highly suspicious of a restaurant. Why try to hide the prices from a prospective... More

It's a breakfast lunch sort of military coffee shop cafe. Lots of regulars in this military marine themed cafe. Pretty sure the owner was having lunch at a nearby table himself. Am sure being on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives hasn't hurt business, it's why i found myself there on this particular Monday in early December. Service was friendly,... More
