Coming from Scotland and travelling to Ireland often made is think we would hate here! But no, we really enjoyed it. Feels very homely and we really enjoyed the food. This Irish Nachos were funny and rather enjoyable. We would recommend here! Not gourmet food but that's not wha you would come here for.

I know I won't be the popular vote, because everyone seems to love Silky Sullivan's. It is your Cheer's Bar of Fountain Valley and the locals love it. We will go occasionally on Sunday to watch a football game. The decor is just a bit tired and the food is your typical bar/pub food and just not that great. While... More

This is a great neighborhood sports bar / restaurant. Menu is extensive and interesting with lots of Irish favorites. Lots of beer on tap and full bar menu. Generous appetizers that can serve as a light meal.

This is a pub popular with locals. It has an extensive menu of popular pub food at a very reasonable price. I found the service to be exceptional. The pub is located across the street from the Fountain Valley Police Station a block off the main road. I found it while staying at the Ayers Hotel. I recommend it to... More

the food is excellent at this intimate Pub setting. Drinks are generous and affordable. Owners are frequently there socializing with local VIPs. Such a friendly place to spend an evening.

Exactly what you'd expect in an American version of an Irish Pub. Prices were better than I expected and the food was above average.

Right off the freeway in Fountain Valley...an Irish Pub with outstanding chow. Lot's of TV screens throughout the establishment. Monthly calendar outlines daily events. Live entertainment in the weekends. Lots of sportsfans, varies, depending on season. For Football, Notre Dame is the top choice in the college ranks here. Good food, large portions, great service. Bartenders know how to make... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the staff at the Fountain Valley Courtyard. Honestly, were it not for the recommendation, we would not have gone to a place called "Silky Sullivan's" as an out-of-town visitor. However, I'm really glad that we enjoyed a meal there with friends. Within our group, people enjoyed the fish-and-chips (really good), burgers and steaks.... More

One goes to Silky Sullivans for the beer, wine and camaraderie. Interesting décor, lots of Irish stuff around. Food is decent and reasonably authentic.

Ach. If you like rude, stuck up servers then go here. They have the same bad attitudes as they did when they first opened years ago. Really? What a shame. Pathetic.
