Consistently excellent!

Delicious food, a varied menu, beautifully plated entrees, attentive service..this is our go-to restaurant when we have out-of-town guests or something to celebrate or if we don't feel like cooking!! Check it out, you won't be disappointed!

This restaurant has a nice location right across the street from the bay trail. Inside is cozy. Restaurant is almost always full, but we have never waited more that 5 minutes. Menu has everything in it. Food comes nicely presented, hot and prompt. Prices are very reasonable for the quality

Nice tranquil layout and ambience to this restaurant, very zen-like. Great food too. The green curry was delicious and authentic. Chicken satay was a touch too sweet, but the kids enjoyed it.

I took a team of 25 people here and we had a fantastic time. Despite us being such a large group the service was flawless, no errors and no excessive waiting. The service staff were hilarious and kept the whole group entertained throughout. The food was extremely tasty, without an excess of salt or sugar and everyone commented how good... More

...but the service sucks and it is super over crowded. Tables are so close that you are practically in the neighbors plate. Over all food is well prepared and nicely presented. The tastes seem not to reflect Thai Cusine but more or less Americanized version of Thai food. Give it a shot. You might just like it. The Thai samosas... More

We come here all the time, and order take out pretty often as well. The owners are very friendly, and the service is pretty good. The food however, is amazing. My favorite place to eat Thai. You get a lot of food for your $$ as well. My husband and I can split a $8 dish and still have enough... More

I recently moved to the area and we rode our bikes to Sweet Basil. The service was very good and the presentation of the food was very nice. Flavorful but little heat so if you want spicy be sure to ask for it. If your in the area - don't miss this one if Thai is on your mind -... More

Don't like giving this place a 3 as in many ways it was great - nice atmosphere, food ingredients obviously fresh and good quality and care in preparation but I just found all of the food far too sweet. There was 8 of us so we had a wide selection of,food but the soups, the curries, the pad Thai and... More

There are plenty of Thai restaurants around the San Francisco Peninsula. My wife and I have been to many of them and find that, while they're ok, they either are not terribly authentic (mainly Chinese food with a couple of different spices thrown in), or don't provide enough food to really make a meal. Sweet Basil was quite different. While... More
