After reading the reviews we were hesitant to try the Eel River Brewing Co. Restaurant but it was in walking distance of our hotel so that was the first plus. I went with my wife so asked about beers that she would like and Rich, our waiter recommended the Acai Berry Wheat Beer. She loved it. I ordered the Stout.... More

We dined outside due to the noise inside the restaurant even though it got a bit chilly. Great beer and ok pub food.

Was here at the end of June on a Thursday night. Very busy but we were seated pretty quick, party of six, most of us ordered fish & chips and opted to swap out the fries for the onion rings. Here's the problem, when the food arrived there was no way to tell the fish from the onion rings!! Fish... More

We spent 3 hours here....not because it was fun and wanted to stay...that I'd how long it took. The beer was good and the food was as well. Server was delightful but the wait was unacceptable. If you have an unlimited amount of time- go for it.

I ate there twice, lots of fast food but all well prepared and good size portions Restricted menu if you don't eat meat but that's normal and it's not as if Eureka/Fortuna is a vegetarian strong hold It's very popular with the locals as there's a bar running the length of the restaurant and the brewery have a big choice... I'm on record regarding places that 'ask how you would like your burger done?' and then don't deliver. When asked here, I asked back "do you really, really, really get medium rare?" A firm "yes" was the response. When there are only three tables occupied, a single hunk of ground beef should get the cook's attention long enough to cook... More

We stumbled upon this place during a long road trip and were pleasantly surprised. It's tough to find, tucked next to the super 8 motel but once we made it we were so glad we stopped in. The energy was great, with incredibly friendly staff and what appeared to be a rowdy crowd of locals. We enjoyed decent meals and... More

Stopped in Fortuna after riding up from South of San Francisco on the return leg of a 3 week trip to Baja California and back. We booked into the Best Western and then checked Trip Advisor for a place to eat. Eel River Brewing Co popped up so we gave it a shot - and it was within walking distance.... More

My husband and I went for dinner. He has the bean burger it was flavorful, I had the westerner. Though it had grassfed local beef there was no flavor to the beef. I was fresh ground beef and very good fresh ground beef but not flavor what so ever. I'm not even sure it had salt and pepper on it.... More
