My husband and I ordered salads and chowder for an early dinner. The salads were fresh and flavorful. The chowder was outstanding. The price was a little high and the service a little slow.

Stayed in Mendocino for 3 nights. Went to Silver's, as I have done in the past. Sat next to the window and watched a beautiful sunset with my wife. The restaurant is on the second floor so you get this wonderful elevated view. We had drinks from the bar, that were very good. Service was good. We had oysters, salad... More

Nice harbor view; great dog friendly deck, friendly servers. I had a salad with grilled fish on top that was very good, but the clam chowder was mediocre - too bland, too thick, not enough clams. My friend had a good burger, but no one came to refill her water. Overall, we enjoyed the meal.

THE VIEW WAS EXCELLENT! The food warmed just before it's brought to you. After reading all the reviews, we choose this restaurant(the crab cakes and chowder). The crabs cakes were obviously made at some other time, they were not fresh and very little crab....then nuked..they were mushy and Luke warm!! The clam chowder looked and tasted straight from a can...maybe we... More

Came in hot and tired from 8 hours on the motorcycles about 4 pm. Allison at the bar poured some good cocktails (my martini was excellent) and we looked over the menu. We also booked a room at their Anchor Inn across the parking lot ($65 for a double---Score!). So more drinks and then ordered. We wanted fish and chips... More

My husband and I had dinner here yesterday evening. I like clam chowder, but I've never had any other clam dish. I had the clam and garlic cheese linguine ($22) with garlic bread. There were 23 clams, so there were plenty. I found I don't care for whole clams from the shell. The garlic cheese pasta was good, but too... More

I had their stuffed petrale sole, one of their signature dishes and it was very bland. Husband had assorted fired fish and it was just regular. The clam chowder was good. Best of all was the scenery from the table by the window.

This restaurant offers a good menu and great bar. We went for the cioppino and we were very happy with it! Slighty noisy but staff eager to help and very knowledgeable.

Good food, a little pricey, but a very nice place to dine. We noticed that the tables running large bar tabs got a lot more attention then those of us just ordering dinner. Felt like we were often overlooked and waited for refills on our drinks and the check. We were there midweek and it wasn't that busy. I would... More
