My husband and I visit Fort Bragg every year and usually visit the same "tried and true" restaurants. We decided to try something new and went to the cute little authentic looking restaurant in the harbor that seemed like maybe locals might visit. We were greeted and served well but the food was very bland and the prices were ridiculous... More

My wife and I went to dinner here tonight . We walked in and noticed it had a stale fish smell .. It was ok I told my wife it must be authentic . We were told we can sit anywhere , there was no patrons at all there.. So we picked a window seat. One of the "Boys" brought... More

After a long day of travel, my daughter and I Googled a place to eat. This restaurant came up and we decided to give it a try. Wonderful ambience; great staff; food was incredible. I had the best clam chowder I've ever had. My shrimp were huge, fresh, and very delicious. My daughter's plate was equally impressive. As we left,... More

Ordered crab cakes and fish & chips and decided not made locally. Had the quality of pre-cooked. However, salad and fries very good. Thought was pricey.

Walked in hoping for a good meal. It took an hour for our food and there were probably only 5 other patrons in the whole place. We had to ask for the table to be wiped down. Strike 1. Next came clam chowder. I asked for crackers and was promptly barked at and told NO! Only bread!Strike 2. The chowder... More

Great food and service! Plenty of seafood in the pasta. Delicious. Great, casual atmosphere right in the harbor. Try the house red or a Red Seal Ale

Wife and I were walking the wharf and saw this restaurant. While we were standing there a gentleman came out and explained the total history of the restaurant. So my wife decided to get a glass of wine and watch the boats come in and out the harbor. While sitting there my wife also decided to get a cup of... More

Homemade clam chowder that was very good. Better than a "famous" bread bowl of chowder from a fine dinning restaurant on the warf in Morro Bay. Carnie's also serves fresh baked bread with plenty of real butter.

Carine's is a fantastic establishment operated by the owners. The food is 5 star and the view of the Noyo River and the harbor are pristine. My husband had fish and chips and said it was the best tasting fish he has ever had. I haven't had clam chowder as good as Carine's in over 25 years. The place is... More
