I first ate here in 1984 and returned 24 years later to the same place - with the same owner/chef (they just celebrated 35 years in business). My family had a very good meal - well prepared, very good ingredients, and presented by the quirky owner / chef. My fish was quite fresh and well done; my daughters lemon chicken... more

The atmosphere is interesting...ecclectic artwork, informal, very small dining room. We were seated near the kitchen and could hear the radio playing from the kitchen. I live in Fort Bragg and this is the place I always go for special occasions. The walls are covered with beautiful artwork, and the service is top-notch. I have never had a meal there that didn't make me want to go back the very next day. Even the pre-dinner bread is incredible. My favorites are the crab cakes -... more

I went to The Restaurant with my sweetie as we were celebrating a major accomplishment. The waitress was lukewarm and my dinner was overcooked. more
