Worth the wait

We came here on a recommendation from a friend and they were right. This place was worth the wait. The food was so good and the 13 beer sampler was awesome. I am not a beer drinker and I tried them all (even the dark ones). I really liked the Scrimshaw and Le Merle. It was so good we went... read more

We had dinner here on Valentine's night. It was packed, as would be expected. The wait was over an hour, but we stalked some people in the bar long enough that we were able to snag some bar stools and hang out there. The beer sampler had 13 beers, all of which were delicious! I liked the Scrimshaw the best.... More

The people are so incredibly nice! They did the best they could to seat us on an extremely busy valentines day weekend! Great food and great beer!

Glad to see the owners are expanding hours of operation...The craft beers have always been unique and GREAT making this a favorite place to visit. The food was always good also---then the owners cut the hours way down. You couldnt even get a beer on a Friday afternoon. What's up with that. HOWEVER-- sanity has returned and hours are expanding,... More

They service was very good and I had not tried the beer until this trip. I will be purchasing Scrimshaw from now on!

So, I already think this is the best brewery in America. We actually made pilgrimage to Fort Bragg. Not to be disappointed except the Sequoia room was closed for renovations--we wanted to hear some jazz. We ate in the tap room bar area and it was outstanding...other than the lour obnoxious guy (obviously from L.A.) out with his buddies and... More

The beer selection was wonderful. Most excellent local brews that were served ice cold and very satisfying. Service was great and the atmosphere was fine. The food was great, especially the pizza that you could customize to your desire. In fact the pizza was outstanding... It wasn't too pricy when you consider the area. I would definitely dine here again... More

Went there one evening to sample some beers and have an appetizer in the bar. Good service and nice appetizer. Returned the following night for dinner and found our meals just mediocre. For example, after we ordered, the waitress announced she'd bring some bread. Shortly thereafter, a guy comes by with two small Costco-like dinner rolls on two plates. And... More

Prices are reasonable. Prices of the specials are way too high but a good meal can be had for a little higher than mid range. The beer is wonderful, right out of the brewery especially Old Rasputin. They only give you ten ounces but that's all I want otherwise I'll be walking into the walls. The clam chowder is excellent,... More

The manager was so accomidating. We had planned on going somewhere else but they could not fit 21 of us. North Coast said no problem they have tables with a removable middle so nice. We had a great time food was good and waitstaff was so attentive, water glasses as well as tea glasses not got empty as they kept... More
