For our 4th of July weekend trip, we seemed to find places that we liked, and then continued to go back to them, so we didn't try everything on our list! This happened with Sharon's by the Sea. We have visisted Fort Bragg twice this year, but hadn't managed to try this restaurant until this trip. Wish we would've tried... more

This place was really hard to find and the outside left little to be desired, but once inside the atmosphere was so quaint. The food was amazing and most of it is all local catch of the day! Very fresh! The wine was great with dinner and our waiter was awesome! Very romantic! more

I have been to Fort Bragg numerous times but have been somewhat disappointed in dining experiences there. We have found high-profile restaurants like the Cliff House and the Wharf kind of ho-hum. This time, we gave Sharon's by the Sea a try and we were SO glad we did. They are near the end of the Harbor just past the... more

No pretense, no frills, and tasty tasty tasty! The food is made by people who want to feed you well, rather than impress you. The menu leans toward the Italian but with the basics too (eg. hamburgers). Their Crab Louis is to die for and they have the best Fish & Chips in the world. also quite a lovely Bellini!... more

My husband, daughter and myself ate dinner there one night. It was good, but NOT great. We went on recomendations, however, the prices were alittle high for "good" food. If you want to spend that much money try The Cliff House instead. Now that' great food. more

Not a fancy place, but great food. The breading on the fish &chips was fantastically light, the fish fresh. The "chips" of fish & chips are not fries, but actual chips! The "asian slaw" was a wonderful spicy taste treat. Also enjoyed the steamed clams, with delicious with a good balance of garlic, wine, and butter and an added bonus... more

My husband and I had lunch here today and what a delightful surprise it was. This is a very small restaurant looking out at the harbor. My husband had delicious fish tacos with a Thai cole slaw. I had a crab louie that featured mouth watering fresh crab. They feature some great Anderson Valley wines. The Navarro Pino Gris is... more

This quaint little restuarant really hits the mark. The menu offers local food with fish and chips and fish tacos. the homemade potato chips with blue cheese and salsa was a party in my mouth. The Thai cole slaw is incredible. The bloody mary was pretty good too!. I recommend this place for a great local experience. more

This charming, out-of-the-way restaurant and its owners/chefs have an interesting history.. read about it when you're in Fort Bragg. It's out at the far end of the harbor. Most of all, be sure to eat there. Delicious seafood, excellent service, extensive wine list. A great Fort Bragg experience. more
