Just as the title states, good food and nice portions. The people are great! Simple cafe, open seating, fair prices.

The service was the best in town- very friendly, treated us like locals not tourist. The food (breakfast) was wonderful. The biscuits and gravy were amazing..if I were ever to go back to Fort Bragg I would go back here just for that!! Portions and prices were not as high as most places.

I ordered the corn beef and hash, a full order. When my plate arrived, it was a plate full of hash browns and very little corned beef. I forked my way through the browns to find the beef, there was very little! Two eggs came with it which were fine. I was very disappointed in spending $10.00 for a plate... More

Check out the Saturday & Sunday breakfast specials. French roast coffee. Good internet. Walking distance from Surf & Gardens Motel.

Stopped with friends for a quick meal, but we should have eaten at the grocery store next door. Typical bland, generic restaurant food stuff. Tasted like canned or frozen...just awful food that I regretted eating. Also had a fresh dinner (?) salad that consisted of iceberg lettuce, big hunks of carrot, a piece of hard boiled egg, tasteless tomato and... More

If you want to fill er up and that's all, then this is the place for you. I had a tuna melt which was primarily mayo with a little albacore thrown in. This was accompanied by potato salad which was once again primarily mayo melded with something close to mashed potatoes. My stomach rebelled against this assault for the next... More

Since it's been operating under new ownership their menu and food is a vast improvement over what it once was. Their breakfast items are well satisfying and their sandwich selections are delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly with a good down home feel to the establishment. There are quite a few locals who are lobbying to get... More

My family and I just returned from weekend getaway at Fort Bragg,CA. I have 2 sons that are picky eaters and a husband who does not eat breakfast. So finding a place that is inexpensive but not a McDonald's can be tricky sometimes on the coast. We normally eat at Egg Heads, but they have become pricey over the years.... More

Bad hospital food. Won't ever go back to this discussing place again. I think they use wonder bread or some generic type. This place is for sure not into organic tasty food at all. In fact, I think I've eaten better at the local hospital cafeteria. That's what the food at this so called deli reminded me of. Never again!
