Spouse Annie and I dropped in for a first luncheon visit to a very popular Fort Bragg Mexican cafe. We will definitely be back to sample dinner items. To me, what was most outstanding was the excellent service--mostly young people, but they acted like family, and treated us like welcome guests. We ordered very simple lonche items from the a... We were planning to try the purple rose again as we really wanted some good mexican food but the last time we were there they were quite rude and the food was only so-so. Checking Trip Advisor we found Los Gallitos. It was a small out of the way restaurant with a dining area of only about 200 sq ft,... More

Great food, reasonable prices. I ordered nachos: fresh guacamole, fresh salsa, delicious beans, ample cilantro...just perfect! My friend ordered steak tacos and said they were some of the best she's had. Get there early, the place fills up. And they do a lot of to go, so orders can take a little while.. Definitely worth the waiting!!!

Our waitress, who was working non stop, was very friendly and on top of her job. She made sure we always had refills on chips, salsa, drinks before we even had to ask. The food was delicious...we had crispy tacos, rice and beans. The only downfall is that this place is SO busy that it takes a bit to get... More

This is a small restaurant , the people are friendly and remember you , food comes out fast and is really good , I especially like the marinated pork burrito with sauce over it ( they call it a wet burrito). I think the chips and salsa could use a bit of influence , but when the food comes they... More

Yes, this place is hard to find and we appreciated another Trip Advisor reviewer's encouragement not to give up because that is almost what we did. So to make it easier to find, look for the CVS Pharmacy, turn into the driveway north of the CVS building but before the corner. Los Gallitos is in the strip mall with the... More

A little hard to spot but worth the search. Located in the middle of a strip mall and not easily seen from the street. This place has a constant turn over of tables. The service was very fast and friendly. The food was good. I wanted to rave about it but it wasn't what I was expecting. That is not... More

This is a very busy restaurant. Twelve tables that seat about 46 people located in a small strip center. Why is it busy? You'll know after your first bite. The food is great and the service is outstanding. The young lady that appears to be in charge knows everything that is going on at every table. I asked her if... More
