Awesome Mexican food!

Great food in a small space that luckily for us had one remaining table left. Always a good sign when the local Hispanic population comes for good to go. I can see why this is currently the #2 restaurant in Fort Bragg. Note: Cash only on the tab,

We had eaten here years ago and enjoyed it. It is truly a hole in the wall, but great food. They only take cash or checks so don't bring a credit card. We ordered the steak nachos and a wet pork burrito to share. They were both great. The service was pretty fast and friendly too. The salsa is great... More

Los Gallitos was recommended by the manager of the hotel we stayed at, along with getting great reviews on Trip Advisor. We went on a Saturday afternoon at around 1:30. All of the tables were full and we had to wait almost 15 minutes for a table (the seating area is small) but it was worth it. It's very casual,... More

Came here for a casual dinner after beach combing. I ordered 2 carnitas tacos and one steak. They were really good even though the topping was super spicy. Hubby ordered salmon and cod tacos and said they were great too. The guacamole and retried beans were yummy and homemade! Good pricing too.

We ate here at the recommendation of the manager of our hotel. The food is great, sometimes the service is slow. I wish they were larger - meaning they had more tables. We've eaten there each time we visit Ft. Bragg, but definitely will be going bag.

I read the reviews for this restaurant on Trip Adviser and my wife and I decided to try it. Our first attempt met with a group of people waiting to get in so we tried another place. The next day we tried going earlier. We thought four o'clock was early enough but we found another group of people waiting. Since... More

One warning, they only take cash so be prepared. Very tasty Carne Asada Nacho's and fish tacos. The Nacho's were huge and the meat/stuff ratio to chips was perfect. The sauce on the wet burrito was amazing! Glad we read up about this place and came to eat here. The warning about possibly having to wait for a table was... More

Spouse Annie and I dropped in for a first luncheon visit to a very popular Fort Bragg Mexican cafe. We will definitely be back to sample dinner items. To me, what was most outstanding was the excellent service--mostly young people, but they acted like family, and treated us like welcome guests. We ordered very simple lonche items from the a... We were planning to try the purple rose again as we really wanted some good mexican food but the last time we were there they were quite rude and the food was only so-so. Checking Trip Advisor we found Los Gallitos. It was a small out of the way restaurant with a dining area of only about 200 sq ft,... More

Great food, reasonable prices. I ordered nachos: fresh guacamole, fresh salsa, delicious beans, ample cilantro...just perfect! My friend ordered steak tacos and said they were some of the best she's had. Get there early, the place fills up. And they do a lot of to go, so orders can take a little while.. Definitely worth the waiting!!!
