The Bakery itself is closed to retail customers but we buy from the bakery at Harvest Market or on Wednesday afternoons at the Fort Bragg Farmer's Market (seasonal). This place makes great bread, cookies, etc.. Whatever they make is damn good!!

Fort Bragg Bakery in its latest incarnation was the best pastry and coffee place in maybe the history of the world. My wife and I have been wearing sackcloth and ashes since it closed (because it was I understand was just too much for family and staff.) Meanwhile, the bakery continues with extraordinary wonderful bread (Hanna's Austrian Seed bread and... More

This place served the best lunches in town, great pizzas, an interesting salad trio every day ... and baked stuff to die for. The owners decided they just want to bake and do markets. The restaurant is closed. Still bakes the best bread on the Coast -- the Austrian Seed Bread and Caspar Sourdough make this bread-baker jealous. Get them... More

They used to serve breakfast and lunch, but no longer do. Now they only bake bread and deliver it to the various groceries wholesale. The bread is good, but we don't have a 'real' bakery anymore- just the bigger groceries and their frozen dough.

Come on Wednesday to the Fort Bragg Farmers' Market to find goods from this excellent bakery. Their retail store is closed. They sell wholesale and at the farmers' market.

OK it's not all that small - they provide bread etc to the local grocery and several restaurants. Their sour baguettes are some of the best, their danishes are rich and buttery and their bagels are also very good. If the bakery is closed the groceries in Ft Bragg carry a good selection of all their breads.

No such thing, more of a bread place/pizza place. A true bakery hasmany bakery goods in it: ie: cakes, pies, danish, cookies, eclairs, tortes, & more!! Waited along time for this place to open up & found it very disappointing. Should have been called the Bread & pizza cafe. Place is now closed & just makes & wholesales bread/farmers market.... We wish this restaurant was in Sonoma where it would easily be #1 for lunch. My wife had thin-crust pizza and a great salad. I had one of their pre-made sandwiches and clam chowder. It was all delicious. Not many tables and a small bar - all were full. People behind the counter are very nice and the wait was... More
