Definitely worth a visit ...

We had been to the Wharf area and wanted something different. We went for a very pleasant dinner experience. My husband and I both had a pasta entree and found it fresh and very tasty. They had a small trio playing soothing Celtic music which added to a great background ambiance. The wine list... read more

It was 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence. We had to ask for our salads after we had waited another 20 minutes. The entrée came another 15 or so minutes after that.

This restaurant is one of my favorites here on the coast for all meals. Had a lovely breakfast with a friend here, the eggs were perfect and the potatoes were yummy. Often eat lunch here, my fave is the eggplant parmigiana. The salads are also delicious. My parents and I had fresh live Maine lobster here on New Year's eve... More

We had a great dinner here. My steak was delicious cooked perfectly with a yummy wine reduction sauce, creamy garlic mashed potatoes and spring vegetables. They also made the best Cesar salad that I have had in years! My mom had the seafood cioppino which she said was delicious as was her green salad. There was a piano player that... More

My husband picked Cucina Verona, and he picked a total winner. Even driving up, we loved it from the outside. The welcome was warm, we were ushered right to our table, and the wait staff were attentive. They told us the specials, and what wasn't available that night. I knew right away what I wanted - the Scallops; they were... More

Cucina Verona is a very attractive venue, on Laurel Street in the historic downtown of Fort Bragg. It has great potential as a romantic destination, evoking authentic Italian cafe life. The restaurant has changed hands and gone through a number of new self-images without finding a loyal audience. To the credit of current management, prices were cut to the bone... More

This was our first visit to Ft. Bragg (CA) and we weren't sure where to go. The Cucina Verona was a superb experience for us. We split a warm spinach salad that had olives, mild feta cheese, pancetta, and onions. Very tasty and splitting the salad helped leave room for the very large entree to come. I had the cioppino,... We have a couple other favorite breakfast spots in Fort Bragg but decided to try a new place for a Sunday brunch. The coffee was served quickly and was excellent, and the menu looked good; we ordered the Croque Monsieur and the Poached Eggs on Leeks. Tasty toast and jam hit the table promptly, but when the meals arrived they... More

We went there for lunch after a recommendation from the local butcher shop that delivers fresh local beef there every morning. The menu was varied enough that everyone found something to their liking. Pasta, hamburgers, salads and a fair selection of beers to choose from. The wait staff was polite and our meals were served promptly with fresh ingredients. However,... More

Overall, this is a place to go when you've nowhere else to go. It's not awful, but it's equally not going to give you a great food experience. The wait staff are friendly, but the food is just average.
