Nice restaurant, but not the best Mexican food.

Good food, and very nice wait staff, but not memorable cuisine. They are only open Tuesday through Saturday.

Good tex-mex food but its the margaritas with a wide variety of tequila that keeps locals coming back week after week. Decent prices and good proximity to MacKerricher State Park.

We went there because we were camping at the state park and kept seeing this place. We are from Southern California so we are a bit spoiled with great Mexican grub. We loved their salsa!! Of course, you'll get it for free, but be prepared for its amazing flavors. I've had the Topopo salad, my husband had a combo plate.... More

Nice place, nice serving ladies, but very basic food. For the low price ok but would not recommend this one.

We went for Dinner after visiting a nearby park. Lots of folks busy. The food was good and I would recommend it

I really don't know what 'authentic' Mexican food is, but I know I like the food at the Purple Rose. The service is fast and the food is always hot. Chips and red and green salsas arrive within minutes of being seated. The ladies who serve are so nice and right there when you need them. You can see the... More

I have visited this restaurant many times as we have a vacation home in the Fort Bragg area. The food is always good...not great but good. But this last time we came in the new waitress was horrible. Black short hair i think her name was Rochelle or Michelle Im not sure. What I do know was the girl was... More

I kept hearing how great the Purple Rose is..., I won't waste my time OR money returning. It wasn't worth the calories.

This restaurant is north of town by a few miles. The menu is pretty much standard fare for a Mexican restaurant. The food we ordered wasn't spicy, probably to suit their principle clientele. Our experience was a quiet one because we were there fairly late in the evening and there weren't a lot of people. This is a good restaurant.... More

I only go here because my mother in law really likes this place. Their cheese enchiladas are the only thing I like...that is it and they are only okay! I haven't found another Mexican Food place I like in this area yet.
