The service was very good and thats about all I can say that was very good. The atmosphere is simply ugly and really needs to be redone by someone who has some taste. From the very weird painted mural to the hideous carpet, horrific mirrors and the chairs. Really hard to enjoy our meal having to look at the place.... More

This is my second visit to the Farmhouse Inn, both times we experienced poor service with this restaurant. We had friends visiting from Hawaii. I spent the entire day talking up the restaurant and service. We arrive at 5:20, a few minutes early for our 5:30 reservation. The staff totally ignored us, stared at us and went about their business... More

Let me start by saying that we made a reservation to dine here months in advance. Since we had lost track of the days on our vacation, we inadvertently showed up at the Farmhouse on the wrong night. We were horrified with our error, but the restaurant was so cordial and accommodating, and made us feel right at home. The... More

In my experience, a special prix fixe dinner on Valentine's Day is usually a recipe for disaster. So I was apprehensive when I saw the menu at Farmhouse on the day before Valentine's. The only choice was a special 3-course dinner with wine pairings for $179 per person, plus a mandatory 20% gratuity. There were almost a dozen choices to... More

It was my wife's birthday, so I did not mind paying $13 a glass for the Roerdoer sparkling wine. [Actually, I bought the same stuff for her it when was $17 a glass.] After that, I had 2 Chardonnays and 2 Pinots that complemented the crab starter and the entree, respectively. The food and wine are fantastic. Bring a good... More

This restaurant offers excellent food and superior service without any pretentiousness. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing as if you are a guest in the chef's home.

This restaurant has been bookmarked for a couple of years now, but the wifey and I finally made our way here on our most recent wine tasting trip to Sonoma County, which we actually prefer over Napa Valley. The setting of Farmhouse Restaurant really feels like someone's home. And if you're not familiar with the property, the restaurant is located... More

The service was sloppy and the food just mediocre. With a little more care, it could be superb. The location is delightful.

Michelin “MISS” I am writing this review because I was terribly disappointed by my Farmhouse Restaurant experience. I thought dining at the Farmhouse Restaurant on a Saturday evening last month would be one of the highlights of my trip to the Sonoma wine country. It was not. I've been to enough Michelin starred restaurants in the US and Europe to... More
