Had my Mama been Italian she would have cooked like this!

Heard about this place and have been wanting to try it out. Went there for dinner. The place was between lunch and dinner, so we had to wait for our table to be cleared from lunch, although the place was nearly empty and there wee plenty of empty table available. I had the Scampi marinara. It came with spaghetti and... More

Visconti's is a great Folsom family restaurant. Owners are always there greeting customers, preparing and serving authentic Italian dishes. Some waiters are better then other and we have our favorites. Highly recommend. This restaurant tends to be a little pricey.

My wife and I stopped in recently with friends for dinner. The decor is warm and inviting, the service was good but not polished, and the food was decent but certainly not memorable. We would definitely return when we are in the area - but knowing that there is far better Italian food to be had in SF.

I generally think that if there are lots of choices on the menu, we could be in trouble - and that seems to be true at Visconti Ristorante. Visconti tries to cover all the culinary bases, making them a Jack of all trades and master of none. I had a house special, Veal Parmigiana that was served with spaghetti, salad,... More

There were 7 of us (4 adults, 3 boys) and luckily we had made reservations as there were a number of people waiting when we arrived. After a very short wait we were seated, and the waiter took our drink orders. We started with Calamari as an appetizer and then had a choice of soup or salad. The salads were... More

Visconti's is absolutely the best Italian restaurant in Folsom. The food is fresh clearly home made. Generous servings. Staff is well trained and family members are always present to make customers feel welcome. I highly recommend visconti.

I was there on a business dinner with a group of people. The setting is nice, the decor is pleasing and the seating is quite comfortable. The lighting was good too, something that is often overlooked in places like this. The menu appeared to have a wide variety of dishes that would cater for most people. They served us with... More

Being Italian and a lover of really great pesto, I am probably the worst guy to review an Italian restaurant...This experience was really good...Except for the gnocchi...The little potato devils are worshipped by me...Add a great pesto and I will frequent your restaurant forever...The gnocchi wasn't cooked completely and ended up a little hard...Gnocchi is tuff to get right because...
