We used to live in this area 20 years ago! We would go to this restaurant when it was a tiny little local Italian hole in the wall. The food was wonderful, especially mama's eggplant. The location is now upscale and much larger. The food is still fabulous. The owner comes around during your meal to meet you and ask... More

This restaurant always seems busy - we've tried to eat here a couple times, and finally did about a month ago. Frankly - I don't understand why this place is popular. The services was poor and the food just marginal. The prices were reasonable - so maybe that's the draw. It's in a strip mall and there is nothing special... More

We found this to be one of our best Italian dining experiences ever. The staff was very welcoming, even though the restaurant was a bit busy. The owner greated and thanked us on our departure. They make sure one feels welcomed. More importantly, the food was outstanding. Clearly the food is prepared to order. I had the linguine and prawn... More

I took my family, a party of 7, to dinner here on Sunday the 27th of July. The food wasokay but the service was confused. It was hot out and several of us ordered beers. They offer a 20 oz. and we accepted. Mine came in a very nice Peroni glass clearly marked 0.4l. I pointed out to the waiter... More

The Visconti family welcomes you personally at their very clean and comfortable restaurant. Their specialty is veal but the pasta was also very tasty and enjoyable. The green salad as a side dish failed to impress. The dessert portions were enormous, such as the chocolate torte- very rich and good!

It was our first time at Visconti's. We were greeted by the owner and seated right away. Great table and service. We asked the waiter for recommendations and each ordered a different entree to share. The caprese salad was fresh and delicious and we loved the lasagna and cannelloni. Lunch is a bit cheaper than dinner but a great meal.... More

Visconti's was certainly worth the drive out to Folsom. The eggplant parmigian was one of the best I've had in the Sacramento area. The fried ravioli appetizer was good but not particularly special. The vegetarian pizza was good but could have used some of their excellent marinara. The pizza crust could have been more tasteful but in general, it was... More

Fantastic gem of a restaurant! My wife is Italian and is very picky about finding "good" Italian food...it does not get any better than Visconti! The owner comes around and shakes your hand and asks you about the food. He chats for a minute and moves on. Many of the staff and bar staff are actual family members, so this... More

The food I had here was mediocre. I had the veal Marsala; the veal was tough and flavorless and the tomato sauce and accompanying gnocchi were bland. It reminds me of the American Italian restaurants I ate in as a kid in the 1960s and 70's. The more recent movement towards quality ingredients and more complex flavor seems to have... More
