My wife and I stopped in recently with friends for dinner. The decor is warm and inviting, the service was good but not polished, and the food was decent but certainly not memorable. We would definitely return when we are in the area - but knowing that there is far better Italian food to be had in SF.

I generally think that if there are lots of choices on the menu, we could be in trouble - and that seems to be true at Visconti Ristorante. Visconti tries to cover all the culinary bases, making them a Jack of all trades and master of none. I had a house special, Veal Parmigiana that was served with spaghetti, salad,... More

There were 7 of us (4 adults, 3 boys) and luckily we had made reservations as there were a number of people waiting when we arrived. After a very short wait we were seated, and the waiter took our drink orders. We started with Calamari as an appetizer and then had a choice of soup or salad. The salads were... More

Visconti's is absolutely the best Italian restaurant in Folsom. The food is fresh clearly home made. Generous servings. Staff is well trained and family members are always present to make customers feel welcome. I highly recommend visconti.

I was there on a business dinner with a group of people. The setting is nice, the decor is pleasing and the seating is quite comfortable. The lighting was good too, something that is often overlooked in places like this. The menu appeared to have a wide variety of dishes that would cater for most people. They served us with... More

Being Italian and a lover of really great pesto, I am probably the worst guy to review an Italian restaurant...This experience was really good...Except for the gnocchi...The little potato devils are worshipped by me...Add a great pesto and I will frequent your restaurant forever...The gnocchi wasn't cooked completely and ended up a little hard...Gnocchi is tuff to get right because... We went here because we walked by last week and it smelled really good. We sat outside under a heater which was nice. The service was also quite good. However, the food was terrible. My daughter had a seafood linguini dish. The presentation was awful, just a huge pile of pasta, mussels, shrimp and calamari. It had a terrible fishy... More

We've been to Visconti's several times, usually with large groups. They have a great selection of tasty dishes. Portions are generous so most meals we order are enjoyed at home the next day too. We have always been impressed with the friendly ambiance and the attentive service. Justin was our waiter in the recent visit and didn't bat at eye... More

Everything on the menu sounded really good, but I settled for the Veal Parmagianna which came with ravioli and salad. Excellent taste. You can tell the place is a local favorite. It was crowded and the hostess seem to be familiar with most of the guests. The chef came out and check on how people were doing. That's always a... More

Wonderful Italian food. Freshly prepared daily. Fresh bread goes in the oven when you are seated. House salad dressing killer delicious. A place to relax. Service is excellent, but be prepared to slow down and savor your meal.
