Visconti's was certainly worth the drive out to Folsom. The eggplant parmigian was one of the best I've had in the Sacramento area. The fried ravioli appetizer was good but not particularly special. The vegetarian pizza was good but could have used some of their excellent marinara. The pizza crust could have been more tasteful but in general, it was... More

Fantastic gem of a restaurant! My wife is Italian and is very picky about finding "good" Italian food...it does not get any better than Visconti! The owner comes around and shakes your hand and asks you about the food. He chats for a minute and moves on. Many of the staff and bar staff are actual family members, so this... More

The food I had here was mediocre. I had the veal Marsala; the veal was tough and flavorless and the tomato sauce and accompanying gnocchi were bland. It reminds me of the American Italian restaurants I ate in as a kid in the 1960s and 70's. The more recent movement towards quality ingredients and more complex flavor seems to have... More

Very good food and service in a family friendly atmosphere. Chef seasons his dishes very well and if you are a garlic lover you will love the veal pizziaola. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable.

It's a locals fav and had a couple of recommendations from friends. Nice location in the Broadstone Plaza. Went for dinner with business friends. Had the Minestrone soup and Rigatoni Alla Vodka sauce. Both good and authentic recipes. The sausage in the Rigatoni was dry.

Took a couple to Visconti's last night for dinner. You couldn't pay me to go back. Loud bartenders yelling at other employees and customers at the bar. Waste paper laying on the floor at the entrance and employees just walk over it rather than pick it up. Two ordered Veal Picatta & two ordered Val Vesuvio. I guarantee you the... More

Since it's move from it's old location to it's new location it seems like Visconti's has improved and expanded it's delicious menu. All of their pasta dishes are excellent and the sauces are are delectible. The owner always comes out to shake your hand and to make sure you are enjoying your meal. They have a good selection of wines... More
