All the dishes have the same. Been there a couple of times and the taste for a specific dish was different every time. Service is OK. One we saw the cook standing in front of the main door talking on his cell phone and scratching his crotch with his hands inside his pants! We left in a hurry. We avoid... More

We recently had chicken biryani, we found the taste to have detoriated from before. The chicken 65 had too much color and meat was not cooked well, was over cooked. Chilly chicken had too much flour and over fried.

This is our favorite Indian restaurant in Folsom, CA. The food is consistently good, well seasoned and hot. The service is fast and efficient. Our favorite dish id the "butter chicken" and we have never been disappointed.

They have a large menu. Some of the dishes are awful - the description says that it contains coconut milk and the dish is cooked with cream!! The vegetarian dished are over cooked. The are mushy. The non veg is OK but nothing to write home about.

I have been going to Ruchi for quite a few years and usually do take-out. My two favorite dishes are the Lamb Vindaloo and the Chicken Makhani (aka butter chicken) I also get their samosas which come with this very tasty slightly spicy red chutney and the coriander chutney. They have the tamarind chutney too but I prefer savory over... More

This place is really terrible. Okay, the food is acceptable some days. However, many days they serve stale food. You can taste the age !!!! The management is extremely arrogant. The serving staff is nice. But the manager is an arrogant &^%*&^%. He treats you as if you are a hobo in a soup kitchen.

COCKROACH on our plate when served, slow service, and DISHONEST people! Meal was supposed to be comped after the food was served with a roach on the plate, but yet the individual who TOLD us it was comped then took it upon himself to mark our Groupon as REDEEMED for payment on MY phone! Unbelievable. We went home nauseous, flea-bitten... More

Ruchi has the best Indian lunch buffet in Folsom. Their good has less heat than most other restaurants, but more flavor. The dal (common lentil side dish) was the best I've ever had - lots of flavor with less heat. I believe the chicken in the tikka masala is tandoori-cooked, so it's loaded with flavor even without the wonderful sauce.... More

We enjoy Indian buffet lunches, not only in Sacramento area, but wherever we visit. This one is the best ever. Ruchi served on its steam tables dishes I had not seen before as well as the standard items. The fried appetizers were unusually fresh and crispy. The soups were fantastic. There were three different rice options. The deserts were exotic... More

We eat here often and always enjoy it. The food is wonderful, the staff is friendly and the service excellent. We enjoy Indian food, and eat frequently at Indian buffets. Ruchi is currently our favorite. My only reservation is that the seats in back that are up against the wall are uncomfortable. Don't let them put you there.
