Wish the bartenders were friendly then it would be perfect......sitting at the bar and no one even engaged in conversation....

Love this little Craft Brew oasis, some great selections to choose from, and some good munchies to go along with the beer - staff is nice - alas, a little on the small side - which is one of the best and worst parts - so I suggest you all go when I am not planning on doing so

Samuel Horne's burgers are the best I've had in the greater Sacramento area. I especially love the Nutcase (peanut butter) burger. The beer selection is extensive, but highlights craft beers made within 150 miles of the tavern. The staff is very knowledgeable about their beers. The only downside is that sometimes this tiny joint is so crowded that there is... More

Locals hang out. A small friendly bar with good service and a terrific choice of interesting microbrews. The food was tasty with big portions, but maybe a bit variable. Go for the beer.

We were down in Folsom the other day and got tired of the same old lunch places. On a chance, we decided to head over to old town and glad we did. We dropped into Sam's, well after the lunch crowd, a good thing because this is a pretty small place. First of all, there is a fantastic draft selection... More

Decided to hit this place based on the reviews and glad we did. The place is small but great. You'll have grab a seat then go up to the counter to order your food and beer. They have liquors as well for the non beer drinkers. We had the Cootie burger and Johnny cash burger and both were amazing, probably... More

There are plenty of places and various selections for food and drink in Folsom, but if you find yourself in old town Folsom on Sutter Street and you are hungry and/or thirsty, get over to Sam Hornes. The beer selection can't be beat and some of the freshest, tasty burgers and sandwiches that can be found anywhere. The help is... More

The Johnny Cash burger is the best around. Burger grilled to order, two premium bacon strips, topped with excellent BBQ sauce. Atmosphere is pleasant. This is a bar/tavern but is pleasant enough to come for a business lunch which I've done twice. Unfortunately both times I had to go back to work so I was unable to sample the beer.... More
