Apparently it is closed and I'm not surprised. I took my wife there for mother's day brunch. We had a reservation and arrived a few minutes early and were seated. Long story short ... we walked out after waiting 30 minutes during which we didn't receive any drinks or food (not even the coffee and oj we ordered when we... More

After just spending two weeks in France and having had a lovely lunch here before, I was so disappointed today to discover the place closed with no signs of life for their Sunday brunch. Had psyched up two friends to bring with me, too. Their website is still live advertising all their days and hours. What a drag! I wonder... More

Bistro La Petite is a charming little restaurant. The decor is low key French country. I had lunch there with friends. The service and food were very good. The lunch menu included appetizers, some of which could be entrees, soups, salads, sandwiches and quiche. Two of us had the quiche of the day. It was ham and bacon and quite... More

I believe Bistro La Petite France to be the best authentic French restaurant in the Sacramento region. Try the cog au vin or the lamb. The ribeye and frites is my daughter's favorite. They are upstairs on Sutter Street in old Folsom, a bit hard to find, but well worth the effort. Ignore the review that says they are closed... More

Not terrible. Just gone now. Used to be Lanza's. Used to be My Brother Vinnie's. Now its a combo of Lockdown Brewery and a French bistro.

We ate there for a lunch when it was located in Granite Bay. The food was perfect and a refreshing difference from the standard Sacramento fare. The owner is from France, so it's original French cuisine. Great place for a change of pace.

We were in France in June and I was looking forward to a nice meal at Bistro La Petite France that was reminiscent of our trip. I ordered the Turkey Cranberry quiche. The flavors were delicious but it was quite overcooked. The filling and the crust were very dark brown. Had it not been overcooked it would have been delicious.... More

We came across this restaurant by chance on a Sunday morning. Wow, perfect crepe pancakes which were not overstuffed or too moist. The scallion home fries are wonderful, and the hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict was tangy and tasty. Nice service from family members.

Bistro has moved into the previous location of My Brother Vinnie's at 718 Sutter Street, Folsom 95630. Park in the large city parking lot that runs behind the building parallel with Sutter, then go up the stairs from there. An elevator is also available. It's a much larger space, has a bar, and a very large balcony overlooking Sutter Street... More

Besides everything else that he touches, the chef at this restaurant makes an amazing Reuben sandwich. He trims the meat carefully so that it is nice and lean. The sandwich spread he puts on it is sweet and slightly spicy. It is truly his "secret sauce" - he wouldn't reveal the recipe! I understand that Bistro La Petite France is... More
