We stayed at the Narrow Gauge Inn so this restaurant was the ultimate in convenience. On top of that, the food and service were outstanding. Ron was our waiter. Very professional but low-key.Prices are high but that is the case everywhere in the Yosemite area. The Butternut Squash soup was to die for. In fact, we ate there a second... More

We celebrated a birthday dinner here, the food, atmosphere and service all exceeded our expectations. Menu had great variety and the wine choices were plenty. Since we stayed at the hotel we got to experience their breakfasts in the restaurant as well. Certainly not your typical hotel "free" breakfasts. Many options and tasty, fresh food.

We ate Saturday night dinner on white tablecloths and out on the porch. An unexpected gem in the middle of the woods. Interior decor is inviting too, with a bar that reminded me of a fine inn in England. I had elk steak with a rasberry reduction for a sauce, while my wife had trout stuffed with shrimp or prawns.... I ordered Elk meat, the most expensive meat on the menu. I must have hit grissel so I tried to cut it in a different direction. NO luck there. So I tried to cut another piece of meat with same result. Not happy with the experience there. It was also a bit warm in the restaurant. The ONLY good thing... More

The menu has something for most tastes and diets, including salmon that is tasty. There is good healthy farmed salmon and not-so-good unhealthy farmed salmon and this (eaten twice) is clearly the former. I liked this salmon better than that I had a year ago at the nearby upscale Tenaya Lodge. Both the mixed greens salad and free fresh bread... More

After a long drive we enjoyed the friendly dinner service with a view of the pines. I had the New York steak special with a yummy dinner salad, fresh vegetables, and garlic mashed potatoes. The desserts are made by Lucy and are delicious. The wine selection is good. We enjoyed it so much we planned to eat there again the... More

Enjoyed a nice dinner for 2. Delicious homemade gravalox and fresh Idaho trout for dinner. Good selection of wines. Nice background piano music on CD, Danny Wright.

We were not expecting to find a great restaurant in Fish Camp (population from 2010 census - 59), but we did, and we liked it so much that we went back a second time. The restaurant is located in an inn of the same name and came highly recommended by the owner of the B & B where we were... More
