After a long drive we enjoyed the friendly dinner service with a view of the pines. I had the New York steak special with a yummy dinner salad, fresh vegetables, and garlic mashed potatoes. The desserts are made by Lucy and are delicious. The wine selection is good. We enjoyed it so much we planned to eat there again the... More

Enjoyed a nice dinner for 2. Delicious homemade gravalox and fresh Idaho trout for dinner. Good selection of wines. Nice background piano music on CD, Danny Wright.

We were not expecting to find a great restaurant in Fish Camp (population from 2010 census - 59), but we did, and we liked it so much that we went back a second time. The restaurant is located in an inn of the same name and came highly recommended by the owner of the B & B where we were... More

Our meal was mediocre at best. Our escargo was ok, but we suspect was prepared with canned garlic atop a large lettuce leaf with positively canned olives to garnish! The salmon lox were mundane. Our venison was ok, but nothing special. Nice atmosphere but the service was average. Overall a very average experience and the food definitely did not measure... More

Your "flashlight" phone application will come in handy. This restaurant thinks that no light is some sort of back woods atmosphere builder. Or perhaps they don't want you to see what your eating? I believe this restaurant is over reaching. Elk for $47, a bit much for a "rustic" dark restaurant. Lamb shank a tad under done and a bit... More

We had dinner at the Narrow Gauge our first night in Yosemite. We loved the classic Yosemite styling of the place, with its beautiful sugar pine bar serving good cold beers. Food was good though we felt the menu was a little too global and could have done with more local touches. Service was good. Only other comment is the... More

This was a disappointing experience. Their entrees were OK but lacked the value you would expect for their image in the community. They are seen as the best and their food is just OK. The prices are those of a first class restaurant but food quality is at best average. Their best attribute is that they have little competition and... More

Great decor for the setting and excellent tasting food. Would recommend if you're staying at the inn or close by.
