We stayed at the Narrow Gauge Inn for two nights in late August 2014. It is a very quaint inn with lovely surroundings and views and a refreshing pool. On our last evening we enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Restaurant. There were two couples, and we all really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and wonderful service. We booked our evening... More

It is a peaceful retreat, with a lovely menu. They always have a couple of game items on the menu, and we have never been disappointed with either the food or the service.

The restaurant is closed in winter, but we had the complimentary breakfast that came with our stay. It was very good. The food was cooked with character, not like your typical bland breakfast buffet. Sausage, potatoes, muffins, cereal, yogurt, toast, bagels, and made to order waffles. Drinks included coffee, tea, and juice. It was just what we needed in the... More

Although at first glance the menu looks a little pricey, when we visited they had a sunset special deal. We enjoyed soup and a delicious steak for a great price, and we returned for a second meal the next evening.

We dined here 2 nights when we were staying at the Narrow Gauge Inn. There is really limited choice of where to dine locally and the Restaurant was really pretty. Service was rude at times, if something had run out (which happened on both nights) no apology it is tough luck. Vegetables well again tough you get what they have... More

Loved this place which had been justifiably recommended to us. The early evening menu is exceptional value and although a little limited in choice the selection is varied and VERY tasty. We were delighted we had the chance to sample some great food in this lovely venue.

We stayed at the Wawona Hotel in Yosemite National Park for 3 nights and wanted to try a different restaurant; this was suggested to us. We went for the “Early Bird” special, between 5 and 6 pm, to save a few dollars. We had the prime rib and a chicken dish; both were delicious. The restaurant had good service, great... More

Good food, prompt service, delicious glass of sparkling wine, lovely to sit in the conservatory and have a walk around the gardens after dinner.

Best way to end your trip to this area! Great food but even better atmosphere. Check out every room because they are all different form the front porch to the back porch! Great place to take a group also.

We chose to sit out in the covered verandah. A really nice setting, fully screened to keep the bugs away. The menu had a very good selection and the wine list was good. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
