Very Pleasant Meal!

We had spent the day at Henry Cowell Redwoods and Roaring Camp Railroad so we were hungry and tired, ready to relax and rejuvenate. I had researched the location and menu in advance, but we still had a little trouble locating it because it's in a fairly congested area on Hwy. 9 with a lot of other... read more

Enjoyed the character of this small-town restaurant, and the food was very good. Would visit again and recommend to others passing through!

Stopped for early lunch after morning in the Redwoods, this is a place we have never been before, but many friends have said was great. Excellent beers and ales on tap plus a full bar My hubby had a great cheeseburger and chose the beans as his side. Not feeling like a meat meal, I had sides the Beans, Coleslaw,... More

This local hang out is off Highway 9 in Felton, CA. It's not a fancy place; there are hand-written signs telling you which door to enter and walls full of inexpensive cowboy bric-a-brac, but it's a good place to get a burger basket and some beer on tap. I had a juicy burger and fries basket that cost a little... More

After an 11 mile hike in the redwoods, we needed some good food and drinks to make aches go away, and the Cowboy diner came through! Waiter had all of the answers and helped us pick out two great meals and two great drinks to put some comfort back in our lives. Smoked half chicken with ginger bbq sauce was... More

Our party of three came upon the Cowboy Bar and Grill after visiting the nearby state park and its redwoods. Very friendly feel, an obvious mix of locals and visitors, some fun John Wayne touches. The sweet cornbread that comes with many meals was a hit and the pork was nice and tender. Cole slaw and soup as sides were... More

We stopped here after zip lining at Mount Herman. We always like to find the place where locals eat and this seemed to be it. The food was delicious and there was plenty. My husband got a chicken, ham,Swiss cheese sandwich and I had a philly style roast beef sandwich. We enjoyed them both. Service was good. Would definitely come again.

Great find after our 2 hour hike in Big Basin Redwood Park. Yes we were hungry (although I didn't think I was) and finished off the burgers and the wonderful crispy French fries. We sat on the little outdoor patio and continued to enjoy the fresh air.

This place is Felton Funky, and proud of it. If you're a meat eater, it actually beats the Hindquarter in versatility of menu, price, and overall tastiness. I almost always get the ribs, and cornbread, a great reason NOT to go here if you're on a diet. But it's all so good! I can't honestly rate the quality of a... More

Food was good, not great. After a late opening and a girl who was waitress, bartender, bus boy and hostess all in one, more staff arrived and they were friendly and accomodating. Sweet western decor. Fun, casual dining, very affordable.
