In Texas we just called it "Roadhouse" and we all knew the place. However we now live in California and still like to go here whenever possible. This one in Fairfield seems like it is always busy. As it should be because they have awesomely good food. We try to make it to the early bird dinner before 6pm because... More

We called ahead to the restaurant to be added to the wait list. When we arrived we where ushered to our table. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs. We ordered the rib-eye steak with mushrooms and loaded mash potatoes. Yummy!!!

We visited Texas Roadhouse Fairfield one night in early December 2014. It was crowded and there was about a 30 min wait or so. In the end, the food was delicious and well worth the wait. It's a chain restaurant, but there is always variability between locations. This one was better than the one in our home area, we'd go... More

Randy Blankenchip found an empty niche when he opened Texas Roadhouse--a quality restaurant in Fairfield, CA. The steaks are great, the atmosphere homey and comfortable, in spite of being crowded from opening to closing every single day.

Great food, steaks and bread. The cost was not to expensive, good servers to say of old time peanut shells on the floor. I was told a while ago the shell help oil the wood floor, if that is the case they lots of peanut oil. For men it is said if there is a lot of men in line... More

Prices are good, food is good and they are are sensitive to my wife's seafood allergy, many are not. They have good salads, burgers and steaks and they'll make your steak fries extra crispy if you ask!

This is a family-oriented establishment--great for loud and noisy kids because any sounds they make will not make any difference in the overall ambience. The food is OK, but nothing special. Not a good place for a date or a quiet dinner for two. Prices are quite reasonable, so they have a great following. If you always wondered what it... More

The steak, sides and the drink were all really good. The prices weren't too high, the service was good, and the atmosphere very relaxed and down home (peanut shells on the floor!). If you hate country music, however, I'd stay away from this place.
