We had the ceviche and the empanadas. Both great! Server did good, until she brought the check without us requesting it. We were still enjoying our drinks and desert. We felt rushed to eat and leave. Keep in mind there were no other clients and it was noon. What is the rush? Please don't do that. It brings the whole... More

This is not your typical traditional Mexican place. The food is a little more interesting especially for Fairfield. The mole on the chicken enchilada was really flavorful. I haven't found a better mole anywhere else yet.

We've been living in the area for several years now, and have yet to find that restaurant that combines both good food, together with a slightly more elegant/sophisticated atmosphere. Favela Fusion fills that void. The food was quite good! It is a twist on Mexican food (not sure where the reference to Brazilian slums comes from in the name of... More

Visiting the Fairfield area for the first time, I struggled to find good dining choices. I asked my GPS for restaurants, scolled through the choices, and pulled this one from the air, based on the name and a mental dice roll. I was very happy with Favela's, and came back the next evening for more. Moderately noisy but happy atmosphere,... More

A family favorite, I have enjoyed this place every time I have visited with consistently high quality service and great food. Love the ambience and atmosphere. It is big enough to accomodate families comfortably and sports bar fans alike but not too big to feel impersonal. Our service was exceptional with our waitress cheerful and attentive. - We were served... More

We've eaten here several times over the last couple of years, the most recently on a Saturday night. Normally we eat at tables, but this last time I was alone so sat at the bar. Same menu. Service is very good at Favela's with a staff that really hustles and is very friendly. Whereas some of the items are similar... More

Service was sketchy. Salsa was smoky, spicy & flavorful. Lots of potential here but not quite living up to it. Sopes were well-constructed but pretty bland. Guac was really good, fresh. Shrimp cocktail, good. Very loud atmosphere, but good decor. Sad, empty shopping center surrounds restaurant, so weird vibe outside seating, so sit in unless it is just too loud.

A fairly small restaurant in a strip mall. On a Sunday night, it was busy but not loud or hectic. Our food, ranging from shrimp to salads to fajitas was very good: served hot and well seasoned. I'm not sure what the "Fusion" means, it was pretty straight forward and very good Mexican fare. Or server was a kick. Even... More

We went as a family, has great variety of authentic mexican food. We lucked out with our night and had amazing live music. The only negative thing about it was our server was a little inattentive.

This is a great local spot for good, fresh Mexican food. The dining area is stylish and comfortable. They offer a reasonably priced quick lunch menu (the burritos are superb), and the service is always attentive. A large basket of hot chips and dish of salsa is on the table as soon as you get seated. A good spot for... More
