Perfect and indulgent. You won't be sorry. I drove over a hour to get there and I'd return again and again. This dish here is everything a crab lover desires. The sauce was pure homemade and creamy with a slight taste of lemon and the potatoes perfect. The yolk runny so you can taste its richness. Con: The corn beef... More

Love the breakfast -- especially the organic food and the house made scones with lemon curd. Noisy and casual. At dinner the candles come out and the prices go up -- a little stuffy for my taste at dinner and the menu isn't anything out of the ordinary (pasta) ... so I recommend it for breakfast/brunch and during the week... The service slow which we were prepared to forgive, except when we ordered there were only 2 other groups of 4 at their tables. They said they ran out of bread so they brought corn bread, forgot to bring wine and after 10 min we reminded her we were waiting, she eventually brought it with no apology. After 35 minutes... More

stopped in on the way to Point Rayes and then heading from Point Rayes back to San Francisco. Both times we had the same very friendly waiter, I believe Jose, who was just great. Breakfast and all our different pancakes, pear, choc. chips - delicious. And for lunch we all enjoyed our sandwiches and salads. A really comfortable, yummy, friendly... More

Eaten here twice with our daughter, once for brunch once for lunch. Its really good. Attentive friendly staff. Nice airy room . Good choices , all tasty, for all appetites. Nice old wooden building, mellow yellow color with southern italian scenery paintings or silkscreens.

I just had a sister weekend in Point Reyes. Had a great weekend and we wanted to have breakfast on the way home. Found this restaurant online restaurant. When we hot to the restaurant, the owner was a bit grumpy, but he came around towards the end of our meal. My breakfast was well presented with fresh ingredients. I ate... More

I drove here today based on these accolades anxious to walk in to a special meal and atmosphere. For us, this cafe/diner was noisy, stuffy, and smelled of burnt toast and diner food.We stayed based on these reviews and hoped...Crab Benedict was just ok, served with small portion of potatoes and no garnish while the turkey burger was just sad.... Definitely foodie worthy. Wife had Steak Calamari which we had never had before - a flattened calamari in lemon white wine and capers sauce with mashed potatoes and spinach. I had the NY Steak with fingerling potatoes and broccolini. Kids had pasta and red sauce and the pasta was homemade- and it too was delicious. Even their desserts were all... More

Comparing these glowing reviews and the miserable experience we had, it was clearly not business as usual on our dinner visit with friends. We were being treated to the meal and I felt bad for our host, though we all suffered. It was Saturday night busy and service was awful -- which also resulted in cold, greasy food. One entree...
