Enjoy the food, the people, and the decor.

This is a tiny cafe with lots of warmth and great food. Open very early for those who watch the sun come up, the coffee is hot, service friendly and quick, and quality food in generous portions. The minute you walk in the door you are treated like family. Sherry, the owner makes sure everything is like you wanted. The décor is appropriately locomotive themed with a toy train that runs on near the ceiling to keep the kids and adults entertained.

We were directed to WhistleStop on our way to Sequoia National Park. We'd driven down from San Francisco last night. As soon as we parked outside we got good vibes about the place which were confirmed as soon as we opened the door and received the warmest of welcomes from the staff. I had the 'California'Omelette while my partner had... More

Everything was great including the service. Not your best choice if you have the need for a larger (6-plus) table as they only have one table that can accommodate, and its usually taken up.

Went for breakfast today after having a very nice lunch 2 days ago. Service was very prompt for both visits. Wait staff was very friendly and courteous. Very good value for the money.

On our way to Sequoia National Park, we found this darling cafe for lunch. Sparkling clean with train motif and delish food! Juicy burgers, home-made onion rings and wonderful service. Just exactly the kind of local eatery we love finding on our travels.

We had a terrific lunch really good burger, grilled cheese w tomato and real deal onion rings. We looked this up on Trip Advisor and were glad we did. Even gave us a huge ice tea to go at no charge (I had one for lunch)

Recently relocated to the Central Valley and are always looking for great day trips. This place is a real gem. We went for a late breakfast and had no wait. The waitress turned on the electric train mounted from the ceiling for a 4 year old boy eating with his family. Food was well done and good size portions for... More
