Good fish and chips

Great fish and chips in a cool atmosphere. The service was good.... Would recommend this place. It is a little off the main drag or tourist area.

This place is fake. The food is of low quality. The server didn't know anything about the menu. The food is way overpriced. Oyster shooters are nearly twice as much as other restaurants in the area. The Reuben is full of grease and fake butter. The wings were soggy and tasted like low quality chicken. The sausages were cold and... More

Our waitress didn't even know what kind of sausage she had just served us, got our order wrong, and the food was far too greasy and entirely too expensive for the quality. I would not recommend anyone to eat here. I literally feel sick after this lunch.

Gallagher's was a quiet little pub just one block from the ticket office for the ferry. We enjoyed a much needed Guinness along with fish and chips and shepherd's pie. The service was quick and friendly. It would have been nice had they played a bit of Irish music instead of Spanish guitar.

Good looks, good atmosphere and great drink. I left something important on table when I left and it was turned in at front desk. Can't ask for more than that.

Lots of potential in a historic building but more of a seedy neighborhood bar. We have been in Irish pubs around the world and don't expect fine dining or romantic ambiance but this place is a dump. The rust molecules are barely holding the fixtures together in the restrooms so god knows what is going on in the kitchen. The... More

We came in right at closing. Kelly, one of the owners, was super nice and let us in. Evan the waiter was awesome, too. He recommended the fish & chips with the fresh halibut. We ordered that and the portobello mushroom burger. Both were amazing! We will go back, and we will bring friends with us! Highly recommend.

Went here with a large (8 person) business group for dinner. We walked in as the musicians were setting up. I thought, Uh-oh, we won't be able to hear ourselves over the sound, but the two-piece combo (playing Irish music) was quite nice and not at all loud. Our waitress was prompt and accomodating, saw that we had water and... More

This was an interesting looking spot I just stumbled across in Eureka. They had a nice selection of beers and the bartender was very knowledgeable about them. If it was something he studied up on or learned from practical experience, I am not sure. I only had a couple of beers, but the food menu looked interesting. If the aroma... More

Waited for awhile at the bar with my date, was ignored by bartender, I inquired about a particular beer, he made a rude remark about my inquiry, he told other customers he had a big
