A favorite place to stop on the coast

Escaping the heat of Redding with a weekend at the coast. This was our first stop for lunch and a beer. The beer is good with a good selection. We had the halibut fish and chips and the Asian chicken salad. We split them and it was more than enough. Service is vey good. Fries were slightly... read more

Recommended by our hotel we decided to wait through a "30 minute wait" that was closer to 20. Husband had a beer which he enjoyed and everyone else had soda. Jambalaya was a small portion and not enough to fill a hungry man. The kids grilled cheese comes with 1/2 Yes Half a sandwich (wish menu said this) my skinny... More

My wife and I love Lost Coast beers and were excited to visit the brew pub during our visit to Eureka. It did not disappoint. All the servers were funny and engaging without being obnoxious. The food was also a step above most brew pubs.

Pros: Tangerine wheat beer was good and atmosphere was nice. Waiter was really nice. Cons: I'm not sure if it was b/c we were more in the back, but service wasn't that good at all. The waiter forgot our beers that we ordered and didn't get them until we finally asked about them. The food took almost an hour to... More

Food was good but very slow. Tge wait staff did let us know that the wait would be long. Halibut and chips was amazing. Hot brown sandwich was not what I expected. Large rootbeer was very good but was 3 bucks for a pint with no refills. Chocolate lovers cake was very delicious as a midnight snack.

We had dinner here. The brewery was very crowded and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. This is a family restaurant and the noise level is high. There is an entrance from the front and the back of the brewery. There is a giant fake spider hanging from the ceiling near the front door. When the... More

Stopped for lunch. Good beer. Service was good. Stuffed pretzel appetizer dough was a little strange and the sweet / Chinese mustard sauce was a little off. I had the turkey / pepperoni sub and it was so-so, my wife had the tacos and they were a little too heavily spiced.

This is one of the better brew pubs I've eaten at. The spicy guacamole burger was excellent, as was their Double IPA. Interesting artwork and good atmosphere. Will definitely stop by here again if I'm in town.

This was only our second time at this place. The first time was on a visit in Eureka 6 years ago. .. it left that much of an impression on me to want to go back this visit. The food was great .. atmosphere is light and fun. . Easy to spot restaurant heading south on the 101. Parking is... More
