Good local spot for lunch

We stopped for lunch on our way through Eureka. We split the Halibut & chips but substituted clam chowder for the chips. The four pieces of halibut had a light batter and were cooked just right. The chowder was very flavorful and not overly thick. We also enjoyed a nice side salad. It seemed... read more

The kids burger was the size of a slider, and the top was covered in grease and black stuff from the grill. The fries were soggy and cold. The waiter would not take it off of our bill, though it was clear that my daughter hadn't eaten any of it and after I had complained. I asked for a ranch... More

Great White is my fave beer and always have really good service here (Rosie is awesome) but the food is just ok. But don't take my word for it; lots of battered & fried - I'm not a huge fan of bar food so my opinion may not matter so much if you are! The wings are very good, I... More

Lost coast is by far the best brewery in Northern California! I've never been disappointed in any of there delicious beer or there scrumptious food! My favorite is the fried calamari, it's perfect every time!

Very popular location. Menu is great But get there early, it is very crowded due to great food and drink, BUT it is noisy, hard to talk to anyone, but for food and drink, Great place to go

This restaurant was recommended to me by the Consear at the hotel I was staying at. I'm so glad he did. I enjoyed my burger, and beer. The Downtown Brown was a great recommendation! I loved it!

We went in for dinner and to have some great crafted beer. Noisy but a fun place with great waiter service. Football game was on and just a good, warm feeling....oh yeah, the food was very good too. Some original combo's were ordered by all of us. Fun evening

My wife and I enjoyed a great dinner here. The variety of beers on tap was great. Will definitely come back here for a taster/sampler of the wonderful varieties of beer they offer. My wife enjoyed her clam chowder and jambalaya. I enjoyed a North-Carolina-inspired pulled pork sandwich. For dessert we tried to split one serving of the bread pudding.... More

It's always fun to check in to see what's on tap ... the beer is great and the food is good. Not the fastest service on a busy lunch day -- but worth the wait.
