Stopped here for dinner- I had one family member who said, "No more Chinese", one that said, "No more Mexican" and everyone said, "Not another burger!" (even tho we don't 'do' fast food big chains- local diners have GOOD burgers). So...Pizza it is. Good, family joint just off the square in Eureka with friendly wait staff and it was fun... More

This is a good place to go for a quick pizza fix. They have a large selection of baked pizzas sold by the (HUGE) slice. These are giant portions. Last time we were there I had the Godfather, moist ricotta, cheeses, pesto and a good sundried tomato. Hubby had the 4 meat special. You can order your own whole pizza,... More

Visiting the Humboldt area for our first time and asked our host at our hotel about a local pizza place. He suggested Paul's. The place was nice, nothing fancy - but clean and big tables to sit at. Ordered a large pizza and 2 salads that we split for the 4 of us. The salads were great and the pizza... More

Excellent New York style pizza. Best I've had on the west coast but honestly does that really say much? I got better pizza at the airport in Newark :-) East coast pizza is so much better, I can't explain it. It just is. Maybe something in the water. The service here is pisspoor. I literally had to get my own... More

Really friendly staff, informal environment, huge huge good quality tasty pizzas you can watch being made. And a nice range of wines by the glass.

Suburb pizza! Only thing is...if you eat there, you can't taste your food because of the blaring 4 TVs all on different channels. There is also lots of machine noise from the open kitchen. One suggestion is to order take-out. That said, the staff are always friendly and the prices are reasonable. Portions are generous.

Asalam Aulaikum! This pizza was fantastic. There were many vegetarian options and it was affordable. I ordered two slices of two different offerings...they were HUGE and delicious. This is a family friendly place, and I saw lots of families, and it seemed they had a lot of "regulars" who come back often. I observed they knew people by name and... More

I can tell this place is a local favorite. I watched people coming and especially noted that when families had kids, they were leading the way. They had a great assortment of pizza by the slice. I chose two and expected typical size slices, but received huge slices and the price was just amazing. Very, very affordable and delicious. The... More

The Live from New York Pizza in Arcata is one of our favorite pizza joints so expectations were high for Paul's version in Eureka. Bubble popped. To start with the smell in the place was almost unbearable. Instead of the smell of bread and toppings the place smelled like feet. Still we stuck it out based on our experiences in... More

My favorite is the Godfather, with feta cheese, sundried tomatoes and pesto sauce. The slices are HUGE! The prices are very reasonable and as full as you get on the pizza you have to have a salad because it is the best salad i have ever tasted. It has salami, pepperoni, artichoke hearts, provolone, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and romano. I... More
