Bruschetta a good choice. Marche salad was the best bit of the meal. Sweet potato gnocchi didn't quite work, chewy and well I'm wrinkling my nose as I type. Lamb chop ok. Snapper with fontina risotto good. Pretty average overall. Weird wait staff. Perhaps we caught them on an off day.

Our experience was fabulous. We had a perfect seat by the window. Our service was great and the meal was delicious! The pasta is amazing. A great place for date night or girls night out.

We had the spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken and mushroom linguini and they were absolutely delicious! They told me they could fix any of the pasta entrees with a gluten free pasta and they could fix any of the other entrees made with flour gluten free by using a rice flour. The linguini that I had that was made... More

We have been going to this family-owned and operated restaurant for many years, and we are never disappointed! The atmosphere with it's white table clothes lends itself to a classy yet comfortable dining experience. There's even a cozy fireplace in the corner. The wait staff are always friendly, efficient, and make you feel like one of their family. The menu... More

Glad we went there instead of another restaurant on E Street recommended by someone at the Best Western. It was much less expensive but had white table cloths, and the food was excellent and well-presented. Portions were not overly big, but perfect for the traveler who has no way to take it home. Despite being quite busy, service was efficient... More

The food was delicious, the service was excellent and we had such an enjoyable experience we rebooked the window table for the next night! I would recommend it above the Sea Grill anytime. If you are in Eureka you need to try this family run restaurant!

We stopped here for dinner in Old Town, at the recommendation of our B & B hostess, Lily Viera, co-owner of Abigail's Elegant Victorian Mansion B & B, and were not disappointed. Our dinner included Veal Saltimboca, Mushroom Stacks, and a Caprese Salad, all really good. We followed with an Affogato (Vanilla Ice Cream and Espresso, topped with Sliced Almonds,... More

We had a really a bad experience, service and food. I think it was because the server did not appreciate being educated that Carpaccio is raw beef. If the chef has to cook it to slice it thin, which was her explanation of why it was cooked, then it is no longer Carpaccio. From there every dish was unacceptable, pasta... More

My wife and I were craving some Italian and we found this. What a great find. The best calzone I've ever had here!

Gabriel's, we learned, has been around for 13 years, and its staying power testifies to the great menu. Food was beautifully prepared, with creative but not outrageous ingredient combinations. The local cod was fresh and outstanding, prepared in a way that long-time customers requested that is now on the menu. The Affogato dessert was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient,... More
