This is a review of our second visit to Looking Glass House, on Valentine's Day 2009. Our first visit was a couple of months earlier. First I should say that in our experience the service needs help. The first time we went the service was awful, a mousy girl who took forever with our drinks- we were her only table. The food and the atmosphere were lovely, although I love an eclectic menu, they need to do a better job with the samosas. The 2nd time was a different story, great cocktails and service. When I first visited the Looking Glass I wasn't sure to expect. Humboldt County has many mediocre attempts at nouveau cuisine. Boy, was I wrong! The food was amazing!
