An excellent place for breakfast!!! Very delicious with class "A" service! Located on the historic Escondido downtown. Coffee also is very good, a little pricey but still good value for the taste.

Interesting and extensive menu - salads, sandwiches, soups other specials. Go to counter and order food, then they bring to the table. Slow service on order and food prep, but food tasty. Friendly staff, reasonable prices.

The french pastries here are all excellent. Just depends on what you personal prefer. Have not had breakfast or lunch here.

I've had good experiences in the past, but this noon was pretty bad. The manager was apologetic and eventually we received cooler champagne and the salad was replaced--but couldn't help wondering if the chicken salad had been properly refrigerated! Lovely ambience, child-friendly, sweet place--except for the fridge issues. (Comped a napoleon, which was gracious enough.)

This is a cute little breakfast spot. Parking wasn't an issue on a Sunday morning. There's outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. Upon entering, you order at the counter first, get a number and seat yourself. It can get a bit chaotic if there's a long line but I guess this system seems to work for them. At the... More

My husband and I had breakfast here a few times. It's very quaint and yummy French delights. It's located in old town Escondido on Grand. It's nice to have a meal looking out onto the street and people watch. It reminds us of the small cafés in Paris.

I've finally found a moderately priced restaurant in Escondido that has great food! I'd been there twice before, but since it was a bakery, I hadn't even looked at the menu.Today though, my friend and I stopped after noticing the sign on the side walk, that featured two interesting salads. We chose the quinoa salad with avocado and cilantro dressing.... More

This cool, misty weather is a perfect time for a big bowl of yummy onion soup and fresh baguette. Or maybe a Mexican hot chocolate and a scrumptious pastry. Also, a delightful place for breakfast such as scrambled eggs, croissant and jam. If you don't have high cholesterol their breakfast croissant with ham & cheese is heavenly. I come here... More

We stopped at Delight for breakfast on Feb 13 on our trip from San Diego to the Wild Safari Park. Right from entering the restaurant with its warm colours, we knew this was going to be a good experience. The scrambled eggs were delicious. The baguette was light fresh and warm from the oven. Simply the best. The coffee was... More
