Cool Brewery/Restaurant

So the secret to this place is to have dinner outside in the rear of the property. It is lushly wooded and the giant stone tables make it feel even more outdoors. Food was good, but not overly impressive.

Good beer(if you like the hoppy side) good food and one of the best beer garden I have been too. If you are a beer geek you know stone, But they also have some beers for those who don't like that hippy of beers and wine for the rest. The food here is amazing. Also the beer garden is peaceful... Lovely surroundings, great beer selections, but food is not even close to befitting either. Perhaps this is by design...as the contrast makes the other two more appreciated and this restaurant has had ample opportunity to improve. Just Wishin and a Hopin that they do!

As usual, the Stone brewing giant does beer well. The gardens were even more beautiful and wait staff pleasant and friendly. But for the first time ever, food was just not up to par. It was good, just not outstanding, which I've come to expect from my visit's here. Maybe an off night for the chef.

When flying out of San Diego (SAN) Airport, we always try to get there early so that we can have breakfast or lunch at Stone Brewing company. They have both a great and creative breakfast and lunch menu that would please just about everyone. Their brews are available at the bar. From French Toast to Lox and a Bagle to... More

We came here earlier this week and loved the brewery. We sat inside and ordered a couple of appetizers and tried some different beers. The food and beer were great. Take time to walk around the beautiful gardens outside.

We came to Stone mostly for the brewery tour, but were excited to eat in the restaurant as well. We made reservations right after we booked the brewery tour (recommend reservations!) and were seated just a few minutes later than our reservation time once we finished our brewery tour (we made the reservations for 1 hour and 15 minutes after... As a "Stonehead" this place is sacred ground. If you're looking for the best experience come for a late lunch or early dinner mid-week, and eat outdoors. Get a beer taster flight, and if you're not drinking a Stone, at least drink something local. Get several appetizers and salads to share among the table. The entrees never disappoint, but the... I've eaten here 4 times since 2011; 3 times with a toddler. It is my husband's favorite brewery. The food is interesting and well prepared. Kids are welcome here and they have some good choices in the kids menu, though definitely different than standard kid food. They allow a parent to enjoy an adult meal and beverage with the kids... My first visit and what a surprise. Not only was the beer I got excellent but the food was delicious. I got the Braised Angus which melted in my mouth. They allowed substitutions of vegetables so I got exactly what I wanted. The most delightful experience. Will definitely return.
