I don't know about cost but the restaurant was somewhat casual with evidence of many families/groups so I owuld think a meal there is not terribly... More

Had Sun lunch for 6. Very large restaurant, very busy, but they kept our 2:30 reservation. Friendly staff, prompt service considering that there must be room for 150+ people. And the place has lots of outdoor seating both open and covered. They have an extensive beer list of course - all good! Good selection of appertizers and plenty of entres... More

Well worth the drive fromSan Diego or ? Where to start? Food- great variety, well prepared and presented, and unique- everything I could ask for in. Gastronomic pub. Beer is second to none with options for everyone - including their Stone Delicious IPA - a Greer for gluen sensitive individuals like my wife and daughter- I could not distinguish between... More

Although in some respects it is difficult for me to give them four stars, I think they deserve it for being in the forefront of the whole craft beer explosion. My husband and I would go more often, but we have a serious problem with their menu. I understand they have no interest in doing anything "normal" but their menu... More

I've been a long term fan of Stone's micro-crafted ales, and have always wanted to visit their brewery in Escondido. I finally had a chance to visit coming back from a camping trip when we were driving through Escondido to get back home. The brewery is very difficult to find, partially because the streets in Escondido are poorly laid out,... More

My fiance is a big fan of craft beer and IPAs so I wasn't surprised he was set on wanting to check out Stone. I am more impartial to them, but also enjoyed it. Make sure you get there early if you really want to go on the tour because they sell out and once it's full it's full. The... More

Stone is now world famous and it hasn't gone to their head, or menus or service. The atmosphere is unique and terrific as typical. Our waitress, Jen I think, was the absolute best. Just enough: not too much or too little. Food was perfect. Noise but not noisy, indoor or out you can't go wrong at the Stone. Wouldn't change... More

Two couples dropped in for lunch.....couple of brews to start. Then a couple of appetizers: fried olives and hummus....with both being really good. Then we had lunch....the sausage platter, a house salads with chicken and the two jerked chicken tacos. Nice lunch and would do this again.

This is a great place to meet up with friends. It is just off the garden and down a few stairs where outdoor couch seating surrounds a huge stone table. While the rest of the garden patio seating is bustling on a Friday or Saturday night, this secluded patio is cozy and quiet. There are also overhead heaters for cool... More

What else could you want? I would probably want a few more choices of sides like truffle fries or fresh made Bread with dips but there isn't and the choices are still good, my husband loves the beer but doesn't like the menu but he's willing to come for the beer, like the ambiance and food is good but I'm...
