These are great sandwiches with quality ingredients from fresh bread to the meats, vegetables and sauces. Turkey, italian beef and meatball sandwiches and even the potato salad have been delicious and this comes from those who don't typically like sandwiches. There can be a bit of a wait. If getting takeout, call ahead. Can't wait to go back.

We have been going here for years. The sandwiches are good and fast at a decent price. We like that they are a small Mom and Pop shop, it is nice to support the little guys.

Forget the chains - forget the hype - if you live anywhere near Escondido you know the best subs are at Rock n Jenny's. I used to live in Chicago many decades ago near the original Potbelly sub shop before it was a chain - and R n J is just as good if not better. Whether you like hot... More

Such a personal touch at this sandwich shop. Primarily Italian style but many other choices too. Everyone there is very nice and Jenny and her dad Rocky are often there, dad running subs to the tables with lots of energy. Family owned and operated and good subs at reasonable pricing. If you're going to go often, get the card that... More

Love their turkey sub - very fresh and I love that they toast the rolls. This restaurant is good to use for a group meeting, but they don't deliver.

When we lived in the area this was our favorite lunch spot. Now we only get to stop by if traveling down to San Diego, but it is always worth it. The Pastrami and Italian cold cuts are outstanding as is the service!!! We still love it and will always stop in if in the area. You should too!!

My favorite sandwich shop. Great meatball sandwich. Very popular with locals. Worth trying.

Great food. This place is one of those sandwich places that the locals know of. No complaints from me!

There are times when you're out running around and you want something to eat fast (but not a fast food chain), here's the place to go for a great homemade sub sandwich. They have all the normal stuff, turkey, ham, rb, meatball, etc plus pasta dishes and salads. I've never gone beyond the sandwiches however, they're so good. The bread... More
