A GRAND time was had by all!

I took a friend here to celebrate her birthday and we both enjoyed the light lunch tea. I had the pina colada tea and she had the creme brulee tea, which was amazing. This was my second visit here and I look forward to returning.

First time for everything; my wife always wanted to go to a Tea Room. When other plans failed, this provided an opportunity to dine at the Grand Tea Room. Reservations for High Tea, especially a group, is recommended; however, walk-ins are welcome. We decided on the Light Tea lunch: choice of pot of tea, small salad, small fruit cup &... More

Went here for my friend's Bridal Shower. It was absolutely lovely! The decor is beautiful and makes you feel special as soon as you walk in. At first sight you're thinking that if the food and service is as good as the ambiance ... it's going to be great! And it was! High Tea is quite a production and was... More

I differ with one reviewer who said to "leave the men at home" as I can sip tea, eat finger sandwiches and otherwise enjoy the company of my wife, daughter, and granddaughter for two hours easily. As small as the portions are, they "work" because they are interspersed between cups of tea and the enjoyment of a little girl on... More

This tea room restaurant and store is for tea lovers. There are levels of teas to order at various price points that are reasonable for what you get. The owner is knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for making her customers happy. BTW, the creme brulee tea is a fine substitute for dessert.

My daughter have a tradition of going to the Nutcracker every year with another mother and daughter. We have had many per-theater lunches together, but this one was the best. The Grand Tea Room is the perfect combination of service, food and style. You should make reservations in advance and allow 2 hours to enjoy your tea if you are... More

This is a wonderful little place in Escondido. The service is very warm. The food is typical of a tea house..- small portions and very fresh and tasty.

Tea service as it should be! Dress up your preteen girls and take them with grandma for a special afternoon with best behavior! It was lovely, though expensive...just the place to be instilling manners and acting grownup. Leave the men at home.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed a special afternoon of Downton Abbey Tea. Everyone came dressed in period clothes. There was a terrific harpist playing at the front of the room. The menu of high English tea was delicious. Loved the champagne! The young men dressed as footmen in tuxedos was a great idea. I really did feel like a... More

My mom and I went for afternoon tea. We have had high tea all over the world, and were excited to see a tea room coming to Grand. Our servings were very small. The plate was supposed to come with fresh fruit. There were 3 grapes on a stem. the scones tasted good, but were the size and appearance of... More
