I mostly go to point loma or la mesa locations I heard the old Escondido had been redone. . Wow very nice smart fresh wonderful job. Three of us stopped for Saturday lunch we all had the amazing Brig Burger blue cheese bacon lettuce tomatoes. Homemade chips coleslaw. Watermelon margaritas rock too. The Brig is the only place I eat... More

So far we haven't had a bad meal at Brigantine. We always go to the restaurant in Coronado Island but yesterday we had lunch in Escondido. Our waiter Pat was excellent, he explained the menu and checked constantly how our food was. We had the fish tacos with a side dish of blue cheese and bacon potato salad and coleslaw.... More

We are regular customers of the Brigantine. We always start with a bowl of their very flavorful clam chowder, and then we have the grilled, blackened fish tacos. So good! There is a Happy Hour and Patio / Bar menu which provides a good cost savings, so be sure to ask about that and to arrive early. The fish tacos... More

We ate here with family for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant just underwent a major renovation and it is a beautiful atmosphere. The food is outstanding and the service even better. Highly recommend for couples and family. Not too sure about little ones though. It is more of an adult atmosphere in my opinion. Go and enjoy!

I have been a customer for 20 years.prior to remodle .Went back for evening out this week.Food was good . Staff was fine. I give their architec / interior designer a flat 0 minus. They have created a a perfect echo chamber whose decible leval exceeds that of a fighter jet engine. You can not hear the person next to you... More

We've been to the Brig several times over the years, and watched the recent remodeling of this location. Curious about the changes, we decided to give it a try for a late lunch/early dinner. The decor/atmosphere is much improved, at least for my taste. Very clean, open and bright. We were seated in the bar area - this and an... More

Went Tuesday night yet packed, very busy. Great food, small portion and I thought everything was away over-priced, especially drinks.

Well, lets start by saying I have been going to the Brig 2-3 times a month for years and years, the swordfish tacos, the oysters Rockefeller, the Calamari appetizer, usually pretty much the staple of what I order. The Brig prior to the remodel, had character!, it was cozy, albeit a bit dusty, but always was set apart by being... More

The restaurant has recently been remodeled. This has always been one of our favorite restaurants for a nice dressy night out. The new décor is beautiful, but in doing the remodel, they have removed almost all the acoustic dampers, so the noise level was pretty high. The service is excellent and the food is great. If you don't mind a... More

We went there one night and we liked it. We sat in the outside patio with fire on stones and dinner was great. They know how to cook salmon better than in the Pacific Northwest.
