Excellent Thai food, even the salads !

the lunch portions are large and wonderful. the heat of the spicy dishes can be adjusted, if you like spicy but not too spicy pick a 3 on the hot scale, 4 was a bit too much but still good. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, we left a big tip ! I had the chicken salad off the... read more

Had lunch at the Panyya Thai Kitchen on Saturday with a group of our friends from Alaska. I have eaten here before & it was very good, so thought that would be a good place to take guests. I called to let them know there would be a party of 8, 9. They had table ready & our food order... More

I found this place with a good menu and plentiful choices. Very tasty lunch special which included some raggons, spring rolls, soap, and a small salad. The restaurant offers 1 through 10 heat of food selection for spice choice. I opted for a 3 and found my sweet and sour chicken perfect.

I look for specific things in a take-out restaurant and this place provided all of them. I will continue to order from here and may even sit in the restaurant one day! *Friendly person on the phone *Food ready in less than 25 minutes *Value *Tasty food *Large portions that hold well during transport and in the frig for leftovers... We tried their lunch specials. I had vegetarian pad thai, my husband had chicken curry.Includes soup, salad, fried wontons, fried spring rolls . They were delicious, had fried ice cream for dessert. Service is friendly and courteous. Will certainly be back.

The food was excellent and the portions huge. We had a beef lamb, red duck curry, pad Thai, and sautéed fish in a sweet spicy sauce. The taste was authentic and we ordered spiciest at number 4 - spicy ranging from 1-10 and it was spicy enough for the whole party. Enough food to take home and feed 2 more... More

Probably the best Thai restaurant in Escondido, but not the best in North County. In particular, I had the basic yellow curry which was festooned with golf ball sized pieces of potatoes. Moreover, the amount of carrots was also a nuisance. My partner had a spicy shrimp dish which she said was quite good. There were plenty of shrimp in... More

First time visit while staying in Escondido. My husband and I both had the yellow curry chicken. Portions are generous, the service outstanding. The waitress was very helpful in determining the level of "hot" for us which resulted in being just perfect. We've tried Thai restaurants in Arizona and California and the food at Panya excels. It was so good,... More

This was our first family weekend in Escondido because we were visiting the San Diego Safari Park. We had no idea where to go for dinner, but looked this up on TripAdvisor. Based on the reviews, we decided to give this place a try. The food here is amazing! We ordered Green Curry with Sole, Sweet & Sour Veggies, Eggplant... More

This was the second visit for us at this restaurant. This time around the service was excellent; however, the food lackluster. The spice level asked for was a 4, but upon tasting, it was more like a 6. The noodles in the see-ew seemed to be chopped up and very minimal in the dish. The pineapple fried rice, which had...
