A culinary experience and delight. If you want to try something different and are bored with food, visit this delight. This restaurant makes San Diego proud. The Saltado is delightful and their food is healthy. I personalyl like the Sangria, it is one of my all time favorites. We all know, Sangria is pretty much good no matter what, howeever there... More

Peruvian food from a Mothers recipes. The steak and seafood stand out. The Bistek a la Trujillana is my favorite. It is the best dish I've had there; flavorful juicy steak with.sweet potatoes and Swiss chard, the Sea Bass is excellent but hugely disappointed with the lamb shanks. They were too gamey and tasted like American food. I asked about the... More

We went for our 10th anniversary and the meal was fantastic! We got the kids and from 30 years old to 11 years old, they were all happy! The sangria is fantastic and no matter what you choose the taste, smell and visual are extraordinary! Thank you for the wonderful dinner... will come back again and again and again!

Made to order meals without a hint of 'tex-mex'. I had a decently priced ceviche that had pieces of fish and many tiny little squid. This was an ample lunch of fresh light seafood in a mild (my choice) cilantro and jalapeno and lemon base. I had their own recipe of Peruvian sangria which was rich and refreshing. I felt... More

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We finally tried it out and are glad we did. We went on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was full. It is tiny, but very quaint with rich Peruvian colors and décor. We enjoyed the Sangria, Saltenas and the Pork Shank. All was wonderful and delicious. Once you try this restaurant, you too... More

Finally we tried our local restaurant one Sunday with our daughter! It has been here forever, and the ambience, and decor is really traditional Peruvian. The food is amazing go and enjoy the seafood and steak Yum!!!! Small inside but big on portions! Their Sangria is the best!

If you're like me, you don't even know if you like Peruvian food. One visit to El Q'ero and you'll learn that you do. It's not Mexican, it has more of a continental Spanish feel but with the added interest of the Peruvian culture. You get the feel for the vibrant culture as soon as you walk in; colors are... More

From the moment one enters the restaurant the customer service is impressive. While the restaurant's decor is definitely Peruvian, the menu offers a variety of dishes that deliver a tantalizing experience. From the calamari in special sauce, to the scallops, to the pork the food is presented elegantly. The taste is out of this world. This restaurant is a must.... More

El Q'ero is a wonderful dining experience. Very tiny and intimate, so book a reservation. The food is unique and tasty. Come with an appetite, meals are large and you will want to sample several courses!

If you're tired of the same ol', same ol', then Qu'ero will hit the spot. It's a delightful and unique place that gives you a So. American experience to savor both for the eyes and the palate. Great stuff. Wish it cost less.
