Amazing!

Have been going here for years, and the food is amazing. We go as a group for a Christmas present to each other. We bring a nice bottle of wine and pay the corkage fee, and share a ton of great food. Totally a great experience!

The food is absolutely delicious! The ceviche is not to be missed! Reservations are necessary or else you'll never get a table. The restaurant is TINY. I would have given this 5 stars, except the last time we dined there, we felt like we were rushed. It's not a place where you are welcome to sit, relax and sip your... More

Small and cozy, a reservation is a must. The food is superb, but the kitchen is slow. I was patient as all good things take time. Base on reviews I read prior to trying this place, I sampled a few things. Everything was delicious. It's a no frills setting with a lot of street traffic, so sidewalk seating is not... More

Excemment restaurant, very charming place, but with few tables, be sure that you have reservation, or you can't taste it. The chef was really nice, i recommend it for sure

First of all, I loved the inside of the restaurant. So colorful and authentic. The waiter was really friendly and helpful when it came to ordering. Neither of us had tried Peruvian food before. She told us they were known for their ceviche. They had two different kinds, and we had the traditional of fish. I really liked it. It... More

I have visited this place four times on each of my recent trips to Encinitas and it's always been the culinary highlight of the visit. It's really small and you need to book in advance but it's worth waiting for. The restaurant is so cozy and the table furnishings are immaculate, gorgeous, colourful table wear and great atmosphere. There's a... More

The atmosphere is pleasant and the food is authentic Peruvian and good. On a nice day, sidewalk al fresco dining is enjoyable.

Everything food and decor was exceptional - flavor details were perfect. As a couple, we elected to try a number of small things rather than have an entrée - a wise choice, especially considering they don't serve the grilled lamb or beef at this location. Ceviche (Don Cucho) - maybe the best I've had - literally perfect. The spicy calamari... More

You know you’re someplace special when you step into this small, intimate restaurant, with bright table coverings and Peruvian pictures on the wall. What you don’t know until you open the menu is that you’re in for an eating adventure. You have your choice of Peruvian specialties, ranging from a delicious chicken in golden chile and roasted walnut sauce to... More

No need to get your passport, just go to Encinitas and you'll be transported to Peru. Seating outside is an option, but treat yourself to the colorful decor of the dining room. Each table is set with beautiful linens that appear to have been placed with great attention to every detail. I had the Q'ero: sauteed Swiss chard salad served... More
