It's either Filiberto's or Juanita's... that's where everyone ends up after a fantastic night out on the town in Encinitas.

It was always a bit too greasy for me ... there are so many other fresher and more delicious Mexican food options in Encinitas.

I don't rmember How many times I've run down to Filiberto's for a quick lunch or dinner take-out meal. Always a special treat. The Carne Assada burrito is easily a meal for two. My favorite of the north county Mexican eateries.

Real mexican food, huge plate, salty, fast service, not a fancy place. Cheap. Much better then Taco Bell. Great menu, lot of choices, if you like real tacos, enchiladas, etc.

I had been here several times, usually just if I was in a hurry for drive-thru or if Raul's was closed. That was how we ended up here at about midnight one Saturday night. We had been working at cleaning out our garage all day, and were famished. On a whim, my boyfriend ordered the Cowboy Fries, french fries doused... More
