Great coffee shop

Very popular coffee bar located in an old train station on coast route 101. Excellent muffins and pie. Outdoor seating. They roast their own coffee. A place to meet friends. I have never been disapointed here

Have enjoyed the *very* laid back atmosphere in Pannikin for years - this one is also in a charming building. The last two visits we noticed that the quality of the baked goods had suffered (maybe its not something you can produce in masses or in a hurry?) compared to prior visits. Love hanging out here (inside and outside, despite... More

Been fairly regular here since 1982, enjoyed Pannikin as the early SD coffee roasting pioneer for decades before that. Always stopped after long coastal bike rides and enjoyed meeting friends for good joe on a foggy morning. No more. This spot is now run by some hostiles (metro sexuals) who are simply rude. They ignore customers in line to chat... More

in this old victorian house, you can get pie (very good) and a latte. can get noisy due to traffic and the kids like to hang out there.

I used to stop here back in the early 90's when I lived in Oceanside. Now 20+ years on and living in Florida, Virginia as well as England and France I find myself back in North County San Diego. This place has barely changed except for the range of food and beverage it now offers. It's nice to sit outside... More

A local and tourist coffee must. Beans are roasted in house and a feel of being at home. Youd never know youre less than a mile from the beach with the house feel of Pannikin. Pastries are oh so yum yum give me some. Rnjoy the service, the staff is personable and kind.

Not sure if I hit the Pannikin Lucadia on an off-day, but was a little shocked at how average the food and coffee was. Bread was not fresh, a few days old (easily). Most coffee oriented places have wi-fi, no wi-fi available here. Service was very poor to begin with. There use to be a Pannikin in Del Mar, but... More

I lived one block from Pannikin right off the Highway 101 for over one year. Every time I rode my bike by this restaurant my nose would get the most delightful smell of their pastries and foods. I would stop periodically for one of their baked goods. Worth the stop!

I don't think you can really go wrong at the Pannikin. It was one of the first coffee purveyors in San Diego and today, now in Leucadia, it has great coffee served up in a funky, fun environment. I love their gluten-free pumpkin walnut muffins. I drink coffee unadulterated so I can tell you the coffee they roast and serve... More
