A good local place to meet and have a great cup o joe. Nice friendly staff, mellow local vibe- everyone is not all screwed down tight. They have small eats and sandwiches too I will have to try beigel and locks etc... The barista even made a neat-o little picture in foam on the top of my coffee, all would... More

We stopped in for lunch last week and were not disappointed! Swami's has massive burritos, enough to split one if you both like the same kind. Otherwise, you will have leftovers, or, if you've just finished surfing, maybe not. We both favor the black bean burrito + chicken. I had the beetroot juice - YUM. This is the kind of... More

Order at the counter, get your number and sit down outside. Located right on Hwy 101. The service isn't the quickest….but it's a yummy place to eat. Dog friendly, head to shop at Hansens Surf next door and walk across 101 to the Self Realization Mediation Gardens… Great little local spot.

Swamis is great any time of the day but I really enjoy their breakfasts. I had their Acai bowl and it was fantastic, I ate the whole bowl! I have also had their pancakes and breakfast burritos, which are equally as good. The lunch menu is just as good and extensive, I highly recommend this place if you are look... More

Swamis is a great place to go for any meal but it is THE place to go for breakfast in Encinitas. Try the Juevos rancheros, black egg burrito or chilaqueles and you won't regret it. Lots of good stuff for lunch as well, such as the spicy turkey wrap. Food may take a little while to arrive if its a... More

Me and my buddy where just driving down the 101 when we spotted Swami's restaurant, locals poring out of the building in line for food. We pulled over to see what the hype was about. To tell you the truth i was suspect at first, at least until i took my first bite of chilaquiles. This mixture of tortilla chips,... More

A college friend recommended this place for breakfast and what a breakfast it was. Very healthy and filling. The wheat waffles were great and the omelette were delicious.

I like to stop by Swami's Encinitas on my way back from my early morning hike. I frequent the location in Carlsbad too as it is local for me. The Encinitas cafe has walk up rather than table service. During busy times this creates a bit of problem as people tend to crowd the entrance. Then a server will call... More

After a great hike in Torrey Pines state park we were looking for a casual spot for breakfast. Could not have found a more perfect spot that Swami's! Right off the PCH, Order at the counter, then find yourself a table and your order arrives in no time. Fresh and delicious food! My husband had a bacon and cheese omelette... More

This place is a great place for a variety of people. They have plates even for picky eaters. The turkey sandwiches are great, sweet potato pancakes were good, and they have vegetarian dishes as well. Service was great. The people are friendly here.
