its okay

I know that Yelp and TA give this place a good rating but I found it lacking in flavor. maybe I was expecting too much. I had the mussels in garlic, white wine which were good but the calamari and chicken satay were just fair. I would not return. nice outdoor patio and good service

Le Papagayo has great food and a really nice patio. They have a live band most nights and all night Happy hour on Tuesdays. I love their flatbreads and sangria.

My wife and I tried this restaurant a couple of times on date nights and found it to be a great place to go. The parking is easy (it's right on 101 with plenty of spots) and the atmosphere is real relaxed. They have a great selection of beers on tap, including a few local IPAs and other types. We... More

The mussels were amazing, and so was the Paella. Wine selection was a bit narrow, but the atmosphere was why we were there. Entertainment started at 7 pm and most of the patrons got into the little duets music. A local bartender recommended the place, and he was dead on. I would gladly return for the scene. Loved the paintings... More

We went as a family group and had a lot of fun. It seems always to be very crowded, including tables on the side walk, but very California! Byt hat I mean relaxed and friendly with good food. I We were early so ate off the happy hour menu which was excellent. It gave us a large variety of selections.... More

Went here for a late Friday night dinner- that place was hopping! Had to wait a little bit for a table, but it was not too bad. Waited at the bar and my friend got a dark and stormy, which was very good! There was live music - 2 man piece - and they were lively and entertaining, and made... More

This eclectic restaurant is simply good. The menu, other patrons and entertainment are varied. Something for everyone. The kids were amazed that cotton candy was on the dessert menu. We were happy with the wine selection.

We ate off the appetizers menu and had the shrimp and the pair of lamb chops. My wife also had the Papagayo salad because she loves beets. All totally awesome. We'll be back the next time we are in this area which will be January.

We called ahead for reservation but when we called again to request where we prefer to be seated, the hostess had an attitude about it. We ended up getting a table outside which was better because it was so loud inside. I love that there was live music but the place was just too small that you can barely have... More

Enjoyed lunch here on a beautiful day. They have added new items to the menu. We had a Flatbread with goat cheese and figs. It was served with salad greens to cut the sweetness. It worked well. Also enjoyed a calamari sandwich with salad greens. The atmosphere is relaxing and wait staff very friendly.
