Enjoyed lunch here on a beautiful day. They have added new items to the menu. We had a Flatbread with goat cheese and figs. It was served with salad greens to cut the sweetness. It worked well. Also enjoyed a calamari sandwich with salad greens. The atmosphere is relaxing and wait staff very friendly.

Very interesting and diverse breakfast menu. Clean, open, nice service and, of course, you are near the beach.

We were passing through the area looking for a place to have lunch and chose this location due the "look and feel" of the place. We also confirmed our choice by checking yelp. The atmosphere is that of a local place that could be in Mexico, the Caribbean, or other resort area. This feel is not created by décor or... More

We were staying in Carlsbad and headed out for a few hours to see the surrounding areas. We were getting hungry and drove by this restaurant. It looked like just our type of place so we did a quick u-turn and parked in the grassy area by the railroad tracks. We like casual, funky local restaurants and that is what... More

Lotsa locals. Friendly wait staff. Perky atmosphere. Better than OK food ... it's just that the food was as to be expected, nothing distinguished it from fare at any other restaurant. The chicken satay tasted like chicken satay. The calamari, it tasted like the batter as calamari tend to taste.

This is the first time in I don't know how long Nobody in the family complained about the meal they ordered. This is so unusual for my family. There is always one, who were disappointed in the meal they ordered. We ordered the calamari, the buffalo wings, the poky and the Caesar salad for appetizers. They were all delicious. The... More

We loved the Sangria. Order the pitcher if you have four in your party. The bread and pesto was amazing. The food was good not great. We started inside but it was too loud to carry on a conversation, so we moved to the patio and enjoyed that. We'd go again, but maybe just for appetizers.

Live down the street and this is such a great local place for locals! Love brunch and their mimosa! I always order eggs Benedict and we enjoy the beachy atmosphere! Dinner is a must and the nite life there is not to be missed! Always happy faces, and the wait staff are so friendly and happy.

It is difficult to turn down a restaurant that expresses a love for the beach in general and for SoCal surfers in particular. Add to that a predisposition to prepare food in a creative way from the freshest ingredients possible and you have a winner. This is truly a funky little restaurant for Encinitas and we are delighted it has... More

Casual beach scene atmosphere. Mussels are especially good. Highly recommended. We've been there several times.
