We love eating here! Service is quick, meals are tasty and freshly prepared. Interesting Thai foods in the menu and a good selection for lunches

Always a place to go for a nice and comforting dinner! Price is affordable but they are not open all nights and you need to reserve beforehand.

Excited to have a quaint birthday dinner on vacation with my boyfriend at around 8:40 on a Sunday, I stepped into the one of the only restaurants open according to the internet. Upon entering, a rude server (perhaps the manager?) definitively said "we're closed". He stared. And continued to stare. The entire restaurant also stared. Really? 15 minutes before your... More

We dine at Siamese Basil at least twice a month. The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is consistent and friendly. This is a small restaurant, and it certainly isn't fancy, but the food is quite yummy! It is a "local's favorite" for good reason. My favorite dish is the spicy eggplant with pine nuts, but everything I... More

A local favorite for us. Been around forever, and all of their soups are to die for, and service is all family owned and they want to treat you like family. Their spicy spice is sooo good!, ask for extra spicy in you Thai Pad. A lot of food with take home doggy containers!

Delicious! That's what I was hoping for when we walked in and thats what we got. I ordered the Rah Nab Noodles and my nephew had the Honey Spare ribs, we also shared a bowl of Jasmine rice. They tell you up front you can order the amount of heat you want in your dish. I stuck to none because... More

My wife is Thai and she loved the food. She had the Duck in Red Curry. The staff provided "typical Thai" service (EXCELLENT). We'll be back.

Had the pad Thai, chicken curry and basil shrimp. 3 peppers spice level was pretty weak, go for 4 if you Eat thai regularly. Quick service and solid Thai option in the area. Will definitely eat here again when in Encinitas.

I've eaten here many times, and almost every time has been exceptionally good - the only disappointment has been when they did not have any spring rolls - my favorite appetizer - try the tom gha soup - very delicious and the setting is cozy
