One of the best meals i have had in recent memory. Service was great. Better on a night that is not too, some sidewalk tables - nice people watching.

The restaurant looked very appealing from the street, but we were not happy when we got in. The service was very poor. My Fettuccini was one big lump and my wife's crab cakes were on the burned side. Our Server was very very busy so she really didn't have time for us and the folks were upset with their meal;... More

I have eaten her twice before and the food was great. But our food on Saturday night was not good. There were five of us and none of us liked our dish. Robbie's Ribs were burnt and they had to bring out a new batch, my chicken was rubbery, pasta was bland and three people ordered Saltambuca which tasted like... More

Loved our evening at this restaurant. Dinners were great. My boyfriend had Spaghetti Portofino. He thought it was outstanding. Very fresh and flavorful, good-sized portion of fish and pasta. I had Cappellaci di Zucca. Delicious! Also very fresh and flavorful. Probably the best pasta dish I've ever had. Warm, friendly, attentive service in the bar and restaurant. Bruce, the manager,... Part of a chain of local Italian restaurants and all are very good. Can be crowded, so make reservations. Pricey, but so is most of California. $40+ per diner to be expected.

The restaurant is small, and the tables are clue together, but the food is very good, and the service is efficient. I have eaten there several times and enjoyed my meals. Encinitas is hopping these days, so it is extra fun to go there.

We visit Vigalucci's every time we are in Encinitas. It's a small, quaint place that always has a delightful offering of mouth watering Italian dishes. The wait staff is always attentive with out being overbearing. Leave room for dessert, tiramisu

The food is very similar to what you get in Italy. This is such a welcome change from the awful Bucco de Beppo & Olive Garden. The restaurant cares & wants to make the customer happy.A very nice dinner!

Time for Tripadvisor to update the name on this one -- Vigilucci Encinitas is now MAURIZIO's, and a spectacular place to dine! We ate here on Saturday night and found everything one looks for in a restaurant -- great vibe, marvelous food, and a highly visible owner who knows both how to greet customers, and how to bus plates when...
