Four of us met for lunch at Roxy's. It's an great lunch spot during the week - not too crowded, and right on 101. You can sit outdoors and watch the world go by, or inside. The chicken kabobs were amazing! Would definitely go back.

I stumbled upon this awesome place. We would definitely visit it again. Cheese bread was delicious. Very fresh and healthy salad, and soup was served with the spaghetti. Huge portions!

We got caught in a rain storm, maybe the only one to hit southern California in a couple of months, and ducked into the Roxy. The cloudy conditions outside gave the restaurant a gloomy atmosphere with very few lights. We sat near the front window and had the room brighten with our cheery server who had as many questions for... More

Try the bean soup (lentil, soy and pinto bean) which is available every day. A cup is plenty, because it's closer to chili than soup. They also carry Niederfrank ice cream. It's a little pricey ($3.50 for one scoop), but the Mexican Chocolate flavor has the perfect hint of cinnamon. You can't find this local product easily, so treat yourself.... More

I'm no vegetarian, but Roxy's got fresh salads and veggies. And it's an unusual assortment in their salad, not just the usual greens. And the falafel was superb. The restaurant has a family-friendly vibe.

On HWY 101 in the heart of Encinitas. GREAT food. Large portions. Local favorite. We always share a salad and split an on tray because it is so much food!

We were enjoying a slow drive up the coast from San Diego to Oceanside recently when we stopped in Encinitas for just a cool drink and snack. I saw "Mediterranean" and quickly changed to a light lunch. My husband had a unique Chef salad and I had a Falafel pita sandwich with a huge side salad. Both were fresh and... More

We stopped in Encinitas for the afternoon as a side trip on our way from Julian to San Diego. We're from the East Coast and were just kind of exploring the area. Roxy's had a good menu as far as having lots of options, but unfortunately the meal wasn't that great. The food was okay. My husband had a falafel... More

Went to Roxy based on Trip Advisor reviews. Arrived about 6 pm on a Monday and grabbed an outside table..great place to sit and people watch. Ordered a beer on happy hour and the veggie burrito without cheese ($7.95)..it comes with a bit of a green salad but it had no salad dressing. The waitress was slow in checking on... More

We went to Roxy based on the good reviews, but I can't share the same opinion! We didn't like the food. Their soup special of the day - broccoli soup was really bad and the main dish over fried. The waitress told us about the happy hour specials, we ordedred from that menu as well and at the end were... More
