Sunday funday

Considering it was Father's Day, we only had to wait 15 minutes. We shared three plates, fig flatbread, burger and chicken and waffles. All were good but I have had better chicken & waffles.

We had Father's Day supper here. The service and food were quite goos. We left happy with our entire experience. We had a small child in our group., who they offered crayons and paper to. The place is loud, with an upbeat youthful ambiance.

My wife and I went for our 45 year wedding anniversary. The quality food restruants abound in the beach area of Encinitas. The service was at best marginal. The seating options in the dining area are not very comfortable. Truck stop like. The quality and presintation of the food was good. The noise level was very high. This made it... More

Love this place. I've been here a few times on my trips from Australia and always felt extra comfortable and relaxed. The food on offer is of wide variety and comes out nice and fast. They've a great drinks list and offer table service for drinks too. The overall service is absolutely top notch for a pub. It does get... More

This place is lots of fun. Great beers on draught. We had a party of 12 and they did an excellent job accommodating our group. Great appetizer recommendations of mussels, crab claws, and a cheese board got us started. Sides included brussels spouts, bacon mac & cheese and sweet potato fries. I had the pan roasted scallops which were excellent.... More

Went here with a large group for a pre-wedding dinner. The staff handled the group expertly. There were no complaints from anyone. My only complaint is nearly everything on the menu is cooked with onions, and I don't eat onions. I had a "chicken pot pie" which was really a buttermilk biscuit with a sauce surrounding it. The biscuit was... More

Unions menu is different on weekends than weekdays. That said, we ate the monte cristo sandwich (needed more meat and cheese), and the duck Confit hash and eggs. The hash was the best item.

This is a great bar. Newer bar with a old local bar feeling. Open atmosphere completes the welcoming feeling you get when you walk in. The food is fantastic. Have been here a few times and each time have ordered something different. Our last visit I had the fried mac n cheese grilled cheese. This thing was crazy good. Between... More

We had to try the shrimp and grits. Fabulous. Great service and wonderful atmosphere. Also loved the roasted brussels sprouts with bacon.
